My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've lived the majority of my life in the Vancouver area. I would like to travel but that will have to wait until I'm done school. I'm enrolled at Kwantlen in the Special Education Assistant program and will be starting that next year. I'm really excited for that.

My main interests include reading (history, alternate history, sci-fi and fantasy) but realistically if the book has an intriguing plot (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) I'll eagerly read it. I also like the occasional video games although don't play as often as I used to. When the weather permits I like hiking, bike riding, camping and basically just doing anything outdoors and enjoying nature. I like almost all kinds of music (sorry not really into opera :P) but I mostly like classic rock. Jimi Hendrix is a god. I also like musical comedy. Like a lot.

I'm pretty laid-back and easygoing. I'm usually up for anything. Almost anything, maybe not taking part in an underground fight club. I've been told that I have a pretty good sense of humour and I don't take myself too seriously. I like pondering intellectual and philosophical subjects and if I have someone to discuss those subjects with, even better.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working at a job, which is where most people tend to work. Until recently I wasn't sure what my calling was, I spent a lot of time "finding myself" and exploring what the universe had in store for me. Which sounds pretentious but still sounds better than saying I was doing absolutely nothing. It's probably somewhere in the middle. Now however I have found my calling and I've decided to enroll in Kwantlen's SEA program. What that will entail is that I will be working in the schools providing support to teachers by working one-on-one with students who have various learning disabilities or other difficulties. I'm fascinated with history be it ancient, medieval or world wars and my view is that if you're truly passionate about a subject you make a better teacher as you're more likely to inspire the same passion in your students.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at bringing up obscure historical or scientific topics. I go out of my way to be a good friend. Well, not out of my way. I mean if we're in the same room I'll try to cheer you up if you're feeling down. Or just buy you alcohol. I'm also really good at making people laugh as well as making people feel at ease and providing near-continuous interesting conversation. Just don't make me carry the conversation solely all the time as I do occasionally get tired.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The first thing people notice about me, assuming they haven't yet spoken to me and are just staring creepily at me across a room, is my smile and my outgoing nature. If they have spoken to me I suppose they might notice my witty sense of humour and my intelligence but that's just a supposition on my part. I don't want to sound cocky.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. The ability to read
2. My phone
3. Science fiction/Fantasy books
4. Video games
5. My central nervous system
6. Living near an ocean
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about history and philosophy and the ethical ramifications of time travel. My thought processes often go off on tangents. I like thinking about the natural world and how I love to go on long road trips through across it and whether it's safer to live in the city or the country and how I'd be terrified if there was a real zombie apocalypse and what's the deal with bath salts?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On a typical Friday night I'm out with my friends having a good time. Whatever and wherever that may be. Or I'm at home watching a movie or reading a book or playing video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've read history text books in my own time for fun. I also occasionally have difficulty pronouncing the words integral and anemone. I can pronounce library just fine though.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message if you find me interesting and/or attractive and you feel like our personalities would compliment each other the way a fine wine compliments a gourmet meal. Wait no that sounded cheesy and pretentious. Just message me if you feel like it.
