I am food obsessed, smiley, and trusting.

My Self-Summary

Lived in center city Philly my whole life, although did a brief stint in Northern VA for College. I'm pretty laid back in general but have my obsessive moments. Not that close to family but have a wonderful diverse group of friends, mostly acquired through my different career paths.

I have a degree in Finance and MIS, although besides a short uncomfortable time at an insurance company I have never worked in my field of study. My post-college work career began in a therapeutic nursery working with 3-5 year olds who were abused or witnessed domestic violence. I wonder why the most emotionally stressful jobs, that require you to see/read so many horrific things recieve such minimal funding. If I don't move on I will start ranting. After the little kids I worked in an emotional support classroom in the Phila School District for three years with 10-12 year olds. I am not sure how kids are supposed to learn now a days, but books usually help. Lots of crazy classrooms tales to tell.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently working in the food industry but not doing what I really want YET... Waiting proactively for my next big opportunity to come along.
The rest, hanging out with friends, perfecting my beer palate, riding/fixing my bike and most likely watching to much T.V.

The first things people usually notice about me

I am working the grill at someone else's house.

The six things I could never do without

A clear blue sky in spring or fall, the unknown (what's to come), a nice smile (on anyone), gastronomy (you name it), bicycle(s) and my body pillow.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to cook the perfect roast chicken, oh and what a crazy world we live in.

On a typical Friday night I am

Maybe working, eek, or shooting darts at my local watering hole.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I own a toque and I'm not afraid to wear it.

You should message me if

You don't take life seriously, but seriously enough. Still believe that you are in control of your future and no matter the ups and downs you have experienced in the past.

You don't just want a shoulder to lean on. You want a person that is your equal, even though there are times when you need someone to look out for you or give you a kick in the ass.
