I am a person that loves humor and loves to laugh (but not
obnoxiously and not at the expense of someones dismay or pain). I
don't think that there is enough humor in our lives (humor can lead
to smiles, and smiles will lead to happiness, and vice a
I am a very loyal person and I do think that I am a romantic (I
like romantic comedies, walks hand in hand with someone special,
sunsets and sunrises, picnics, candlelight dinners and just being
the company of that someone special). I am also the type of guy who
still believe in opening a door for a women (with me, shivery is
not dead). However, I also believe that having someone in your life
is about sharing your lives together, without smothering that
someone (let them be themselves, be there own person). You can
support somebody without taking away their own strength, at the
same time, you can add to their strength as they can add to yours.
I am an affectionate person, without over be over barring (meaning,
holding hands, kissing in a public is something that I do, but I
will not make someone uncomfortable by doing this).
I love being outdoors, dinners at a nice restaurant, or even just a
casual restaurant. I really enjoy going to the movies, going to
museums, or exploring this city and the surrounding area. I also
like just staying home and enjoying each others company. Whether it
be watching a movie or just sitting back and talking. I love to
cook, but I'm not sure how good of a cook that I am (but I am
willing and looking forward to learning new things in the kitchen,
sharing that experience with someone).
I am sports fan (love football, baseball, hockey, basketball). I
really enjoy coaching little league baseball. As for sports teams,
all of the Chicago teams are in my heart (and in my life), along
with the University of Southern California Trojans (Fight On!).
What I’m doing with my life
I am enjoying my life right now. I enjoy my career and I hope to
keep expanding my life. I have a cat who is the apple of eye, and I
have a huge love and respect of animals. I guess that's not really
saying what I am doing with my life, but let's just say that life
is good for me, and I know it can be even better.
I’m really good at
I love to do a lot of things that I enjoy (like cooking, learning
about history, and there are sports that I enjoy doing). I think
that I am good at things like landscaping, and I do have a bit of a
The first things people usually notice about me
That I might be a little shy/reserved, but once I get past the
first few minutes (ok, may be after the first 5 minutes have gone
by), my shyness goes away.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite type of music is actually a variety. I really love
Jazz, but I also love pop, rock, (I"ll admit it, and disco too).. I
love music from the 60's, 70's (I really love the 80's) and the
90's. Yeah, you can throw in County Music (not all of it, but there
is some that is pretty good).. As for muisic of today, hmm. I have
a lot of favorite of movies, but perhaps my most favorite movie or
movies would be The Towering Inferno, Le Mans, All the President's
Men and The Thomas Crown Affair (with Pierce Brosnan). I am also a
huge James Bond fan (I wish to be as debonair as Bond). I'm also a
romantic, so a movie like "Hitch", I really like it. As for food, I
really love Italian, Mexican and of course American. I also love
wine (from all of my years of living in California) and bourbon (I
have become a big bourbon fan since I moved here to Kentucky).
The six things I could never do without
Happiness, my cat, my family, a smile, laughter and life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I find myself now thinking about life, where I have been, and where
I can still go (because life may be to short, but I realize that
there is a lot of life to live). I also spend time thinking about
the people that have been part of my life, and what they have given
to me (insight, strength, knowledge).
On a typical Friday night I am
I would love to say that I'm out every Friday night, busting up the
town. Truth is right now, my Fridays are pretty quite, but I'm
always open to either a night on the town, or just being home
(preferably in the company of someone that I can share the time and
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love to travel, but I am not a good flier. I know what makes a
plane go up and down, and that's the scary thing for me. Seriously,
I hate the time before take off and take off, but once the plane is
in flight and were ready to land, I'm fine (that and may be a shot
or two of bourbon).
You should message me if
If I caught your eye and you would like to talk.
