My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am working to earn a PhD from Georgia Tech in Nuclear Engineering. I am also quite passionate about music. I play drums in a band called Courtesy of Frank, and I play gigs all around Atlanta with said band.

Other things that I'm all about include the Atlanta Braves. I've been following them for well over a decade, and they bring joy to me every summer, even if Octobers are a bit disappointing. Going to games is something I always enjoy, and I catch them on TV whenever I can. Recently I've gotten into beer festivals as well. It's neat going around trying new brews and meeting interesting people at these events.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a graduate student looking to get my phd in nuclear engineering. I eventually want to be a research scientist or a college professor.

Something I've gotten into recently is running. It's an athletic activity that's not only very healthy but also completely individual-driven. Going for runs gives me the "me" time that really helps me get through my days.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am pretty good at math. I enjoy solving complex math problems if I can get my head around them. I'm also pretty good at drums. With my band, I've played all around Atlanta, from bars like Sweetwater Bar and Grill to the Masquerade, The Vinyl, and Wild Bill's.

People tell me I look strikingly like Jack Black.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite Book
The Once and Future King by T.H. White
This book is simply amazing. It tells the classic fantasy tale of King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, and their mutual lover Guinevere. I've found it to be much more than that, though, as a great statement about war, compassion, and the human condition.

Other books of note are the ones they make you read in school but in the end you realize are great: Crime and Punishment, Catch-22, The Great Gatsby, and the like.

Favorite Band
This band is definitely my favorite group of all time. From prog to metal to blues to rock'n'roll to reggae to even rap, this band has it all. As far as a favorite thing overall, this is near the top. Songs to check out:
Tom Sawyer
Roll the Bones
La Villa Strangiato

Due to an awesome coincidental trip to a music store, I'm currently jamming on
John Butler Trio - Devil Woman

Other bands that are super cool: Led Zeppelin, 311, Muse, System of a Down, Men at Work, and Courtesy of Frank.

Favorite Show
The tales of Dexter Morgan as he leads his double life intrigue me. Is he a hero? Is he a villain? He's certainly dreamy. Even if the last season was tragically terrible, there are things about this show that make me want to stay with it. It's not about the destination; it's the journey!

Other shows I enjoy: Breaking Bad, Family Guy and American Dad
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My drum kit, my FORTRAN compiler, my textbooks, the Atlanta Braves, my CD collection, and then the obvious friends and family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I often wonder why so many profiles are named after dinosaurs.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My weekends vary. Most of the time, I go out to eat with a group of friends, and from there we go see movies, go bowling, or venture around Atlanta, trying to find new spots to check out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've always wanted to be rejected with the line, "Negative, Ghostrider. The pattern is full." Wouldn't even be mad.
