I am a fun-loving, independent young woman looking to meet new people. I was raised in a Pittsburgh home with two loving parents and siblings. I was taught to value myself, my family, religious beliefs, and education. Someday, I want to make the same kind of home with someone special.

I have my personal beliefs; however, I am open-minded and accepting of most people even if they are different from me. I graduated from both college and law school. I am a licensed attorney and am gainfully employed. I enjoy travel, books, music, movies, and having a good time.

I have a very fulfilling and challenging job. I really enjoy my work and spend a fair amount of my time working to be the best that I can at my job.

In my free time, I like to hang out with my friends, enjoy a good book, and travel. I try to go on a major vacation at least once a year. Last year, I went on a Caribbean cruise and this year I plan to go to Italy and Greece. I absolutely love to travel and experience new cultures and people. Maybe you can be my travel buddy?

I am really good at conversation and friendly debate. I am a really good listener as well. I enjoy stimulating conversation about a wide variety of topics (including controversial ones like religion, social issues, politics, etc.). Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. However, I really like taking part in the exchange and argument for/against different ideas and beliefs.

The first things people notice about me are my eyes and my smile. I have been told I have doe eyes. LOL. I also smile and laugh a lot. I find humor in the most mundane tasks and situations. The ideal match for me would be someone who has a great sense of humor and keeps me laughing all the time.

I have a very eclectic taste in music. I love all types of music from gospel to pop (like Maroon 5), rock (like U2), R&B, soft rock and rap- I prefer friendly/happy rap lol (like popular rap).

I really enjoy going to the movies. I go to the movies about twice a month. I enjoy action movies and sci-fi movies the most. Some of my favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Harry Potter movies, the Fifth Element and Independence Day. I'm not really a fan of romantic movies (they are a bit too sappy for my taste); although, I have always loved Notting Hill with Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant for some reason.

I really enjoy reading. I think that books provide the opportunity to see and do things that you would never see and do in your own life. They are a great escape!

I'm currently reading the Game of Thrones books. I absolutely LOVE the series on HBO. Every Sunday night, when the season is on, I stop everything to watch the show.

I also enjoy reading historical fiction. For some reason, I’ve always been drawn to stories involving Henry the VIII and his various wives. I don’t mind some fiction thrown in for added entertainment, but I do loves me some history! Hopefully, you love books as much as I do and you will be up for roaming the shelves of B&N’s with me.

I honestly spend a big chunk of time thinking about how I can personally improve my job and workplace. I try to think of ways to inspire and support the people who I supervise at work.

I also think about ways to improve myself. I always try to find ways to be a better friend, a better sister, a better daughter and a better human being. It’s a never-ending process, but I find it to be worthwhile.

I also like to think about what I’m going to cook for dinner and what adventure I’m going to go on next!!
