My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am constantly looking to be inspired and to inspire. I love to learn more about myself, other people, and the world. Inquisitiveness is a driving force in my life. I like to see things from a variety of viewpoints and angles. I am fascinated by history, and the continuity of society and culture. I like to have my viewpoints challenged. I find wisdom in everything, especially the intersections of seemingly contradictory points.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Always looking for a balance between space and activity. I have an engaging job. I am actively involved with a Buddhist Meditation and Cultural center in a variety of administrative, volunteer, and teaching positions. I practice yoga, bike around the city, and get out for regular hikes. Exploring Boston and beyond. Currently learning to play guitar and woodworking.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning new things. Appreciating. Synthesizing diverse elements. Writing. Deep, long conversations. Encyclopedic memory of random and wonderful facts (Great trivia team member). Outdoors activities.

I love songs that are both joyful and sad simultaneously. I love the type of songs that have a deep emotional, soulful core. And I love funky layered poly-rhythmic jams. And jams for hitting the dancefloor.

My favorite genre is Westerns. I also really like independent, artistic, and foreign films. Some of my favorite directors: Wes Anderson, Terry Gilliam, Paul Thomas Anderson, The Coen Brothers, Michel Gondry, Akira Kurosawa, Sergio Leone. And I have a soft spot for Judd Apatow movies.
