My self-summary
I'm quiet in large groups and around people I don't know well, but it doesn't take long for me to warm up to people I like. I'm attracted to weirdos and free thinkers and I value intelligence and kindness in the people close to me.

Monogamy is not a system that interests or works for me right now. I feel as though I shouldn't even have to clarify this, but given the social paradigms under which we operate, it seems necessary: My rejection of monogamy does not mean I want to arrange casual sexual encounters with random people online. My rejection of monogamy doesn't mean that I'm uninterested in building real and meaningful relationships with people, in fact that's really all I'm interested in getting from this site.
What I’m doing with my life
Living, growing, exploring, experiencing...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These "list your favorite" type questions usually make me freeze up and totally forget the names of all the things I like...

I like A LOT of movies from lots of different genres. My favorite movie is Harold & Maude.

I don't watch much TV but there are a few shows I enjoy, Game of Thrones is currently the only thing I really care about watching weekly. Oh and Adventure Time is awesome.

I like reading, I'd like to read more (meaning both more often and a wider variety of books). Tom Robbins is my favorite writer, I love The Dark Tower series, and I'll usually happily blaze through a fluffy Carl Hiaasen novel. My mom is a Buddhist psychologist who loves to read so I always have a large stack of spiritual or philosophical non-fiction waiting for my attention.

Music music music... I LOVE music, though I've never been able to *make* it. Artists who have deeply impacted my life and I will probably never tire of include Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Tool, Cat Stevens, The Beatles... I like weird stuff like Die Antwoord, Lovage, Rasputina, and Cocorosie. Somewhat recently started getting really into Dillinger Escape Plan and Lady Gaga (Yeah, I know, I'm usually pretty late to hop aboard the pop culture train). As you can see I'm all over the place as far as genres go. I like music that's good.

And food. I like food. I'm not super picky. I try to eat natural, healthy, nutritious foods most of the time but I can get down on some barbecue or pizza or bacon-anything. All good things in moderation, right?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My brain has a tendency to go into hyper-drive if I let it, so I try *not* to think that much. I'm definitely not 100% successful but my intention is usually to stay as present and aware as possible, living in the now if you will.

When I'm not successfully staying present, I'm often day-dreaming.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out at a bar/club/show, snuggled up watching a movie, camping, or at a rope night or other kink event. Any of the above are most typical.
