My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm very mathematical, political, & logic-oriented. I write for a few popular special interest websites (such as Anarkismo), and have founded a technology company in the "privacy" space.

Generally I keep to some odd waking cycles, and am only really active in the evening - a night owl, but not usually an insomniac.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have founded a company ("start-up") in Norway that requires me to travel quite a bit. My sleep schedule oddities are exacerbated by this, from jet lag to polar night/day (24 hour darkness/sunlight) for 12 weeks a year.

Lots of research/writing - I've got two papers in peer review which are coming out in IEEE's Computer journal.

I am also finalising a video game of sorts.

Black Bridge International (political group in Canada) published a book I authored in high school a couple years ago, and I recently bought a used printing press off a guy to start rolling stuff out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Critical reading (780 SAT for what it's worth) & reverse engineering. I really like breaking things down to learn how they work. Also writing and cryptography.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
would have to be the beard.

*** - Rushmore's Max Fischer is the most similar character to myself that I've ever seen in a film, though I loathe drawing comparisons between myself and film. I think it's tacky.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) People
2) A text editor (LaTEX2ε!)
3) My glasses
4) A healthy distrust for the computers . . .
5) Justification for my actions
6) Privacy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately, how ridiculously jacked I'm going to get once I get my Omni(directional treadmill) and some VR tech.

Rationality, consciousness, ethics, legitimacy (in all things, particularly individuals' actions).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
probably breaking an information system for fun or profit.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
would probably be that I was expelled from secondary school, didn't go back, started college, dropped out.

you think it's worthwhile. I'll be honest: I'm not looking for more "Internet buddies" - I have actual hundreds of those - but if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for reading.
