I am sarcastically funny, a bad dancer, and not really blurry.

My Self-Summary

hi! i'm krysti. i love driving with the windows down, music, laughing, cooking, friends and family, writing, cuddling, hugs, blankets, walking around barefoot in soft grass and chasing my kitty around my apartment. i can't sing nor should you ask me to try. i'm ridiculously sarcastic. i don't like coconut or fish. i ask rhetorical questions and sort of expect an answer to them. bad grammar is one of my pet peeves (and when people misuse apostrophes. if you don't know which words should and should not have apostrophes in them, you aren't allowed to use contractions anymore). i like staying up late but then i get mad at myself when i'm cranky the next day. i'm kinda over the bar scene, so i figured why not give virtual dating a try. i don't like hiding behind the internet for too long though...so be on the lookout for me to very ninjaly drop you my number. ;)

What I’m doing with my life

i work at citibank in florence. it's such a surprise that i love my job. i have the best coworkers in the world, and i love how rewarding my job is from day to day. stressful? yes. but it's totally worth it.

i'm a supervisor in the fraud early warning unit...that basically means i dispute unauthorized transactions on clients' bank accounts and do what i can to get their money back. i also am a second-in-command, so to speak, to my manager. i coach and develop a team of 6 associates, all of whom amaze me every day with their talents.

I’m really good at

laughing. cracking jokes. annoying my dad. chasing my parents' doberman. finding my kitty cat when she's hidden in my apartment. getting lost. remembering random amounts of information. cleaning my apartment only when necessary. dancing really badly. singing loudly and obnoxiously along with CDs in the car. learning all the words to a new album without looking in the liner notes. finding and appreciating new artists of any genre. making fun of others. getting made fun of. laughing louder and harder than everyone else. laughing until my middle hurts. talking on my phone until it's dead. reuniting with old friends. using turn signals (and hollering at people who don't). editing emails for coworkers before they send them. making up words. not wearing shoes unless i have to.

The first things people usually notice about me

that i'm laughing. or that i'm dancing ridiculously badly. :P

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: -cat's eye: margaret atwood; -the handmaid's tale: margaret atwood; -oryx and crake: margaret atwood; -everville: clive barker; the thief of always: clive barker; breath, eyes, memory: edwidge danticat; one flew over the cuckoo's nest: ken kesey; lullaby: chuck palahniuk; invisible monsters: chuck palahniuk; survivor: chuck palahniuk; nick and norah's infinite playlist: rachel cohn and david levithan, among many others.

movies: -eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, -finding nemo, -ratatouille, -wall*e, -the shawshank redemption, -the little mermaid, -half baked, -finding forrester, -life as a house, -almost famous, -moonlight mile, -brokeback mountain, -about schmidt, -monsters inc., -the wrong guy, -office space, -the hangover

music: here are a few: -tori amos, -barenaked ladies, -averi, -chad perrone, -jason mraz, -better than ezra, -oval opus, -joshua radin, -matt nathanson, -matt wertz, -ani difranco, -jack johnson, -augustana, -the fray, -dashboard confessional, -the goo goo dolls, -tracy chapman, -john mayer, -live, -elton john.....there are so many others though. i can't think of anything i don't like or can't appreciate. just because i wouldn't buy a particular album doesn't mean i can't at least say that a musician isn't talented. :)

food: -italian, -chinese, -anything i cook (because i'm amazing). i think my favorite food ever is mom's stuffing on thanksgiving. i've been working on perfecting it without a turkey to stuff it in - and i think i almost have it.

The six things I could never do without

1.my cell phone (i know, it's sad).
2.my cat, melody.
3.a pen and paper.
4.a conversation with my mom on a regular basis.
5.cozy pajamas.
6.clean clothes - i love the smell of clean laundry!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

my future. how i got to the place where i am now.

On a typical Friday night I am

with friends and/or family. sometimes we're out, sometimes we're in. either way, as long as the company is amazing and the laughs keep coming (or the good conversation), i'm a happy girl!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

i'm borderline obsessive compulsive...i have to have volumes set at multiples of 5. i have no idea why.

You should message me if

you like funny girls who are really sarcastic but who have a heart of gold. you should message me if you want to laugh all the time and if you want to meet someone new, for friendship or something more. :) i hope to hear from you soon!
