My self-summary
Casual hello!

I've been described by friends as unconventional, introspective, and even-tempered. I also allegedly lack a filter and tend to make outrageous comments.
What I’m doing with my life
Tech company during the day. Violin is my main passion outside of work; I play in a local symphony orchestra and perform in chamber groups as well. I recently went on a concert tour in China and it was an incredible experience.

I also play piano, and dabble in various other instruments (viola, mandolin, guitar, bass, cello) to varying degrees.

I enjoy biking, tennis, and I also cook a lot and try new recipes weekly. I've also recently started my first batch of homemade wine.

I traveled a lot with my family growing up, and have continued to do so on my own. My next destination will be Iceland.
The first things people usually notice about me
Smile, teeth, long eyelashes, blazer.

Music
Growing up in a musical family, I was exposed to a wide variety of music growing up. I'm pretty open, but am partial to most types involving violin (classical to bluegrass) and piano.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The marginal utility of learning another instrument.
On a typical Friday night I am
Painting in the Louvre.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I bought a conductor's baton so that I could wave it around while listening to music.
