I'm a designer, so a lot about me tends to feed into that. I like
the unconventional. I look for change and make myself open to it. I
find comfort in things like warm apple cider and the smell of smoke
from a camp fire. I like anything that requires even the slightest
amount of creative input. Food, movies, music, architecture, I
think it's what makes the world worth living in and living
I like the outdoors and the indoors. I would be equally stoked
about sitting in with friends and watching terrible Netflix movies,
or going out to discover a new food place or concert.
I also drink way more coffee than any man probably should, and have
a weird love of all warm beverages.
What I’m doing with my life
I majored in Animation and I'm currently working at a digital
studio in Lake Forest as a Motion Graphics Designer. Trying to do
the whole 'adult' thing.
I’m really good at
well....I can make a really good taco salad....and I can draw, so I
guess I have that going for me. Haha.
The first things people usually notice about me
If I had to pick something I would probably say my voice. It's low
and sultry, I can put kittens to sleep just by talking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I worked at a bookstore throughout most of college so I am
definitely into books. I'm currently reading Disaster Artist: My
Life Inside the Room, the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made.
I love movies and will watch pretty much anything..especially
animation. Anything by Tarantino, Cohen Brothers, Spike Jones, Wes
Anderson, Terry Gilliam.
Doctor Who, Sherlock, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Boardwalk
Empire, True Detective, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested
Development, Archer, Simpsons (old stuff) and Louie.
Broken Bells, Django Django, Lorde, The XX, Childish Gambino,
Howlin' Wolf, Otis Redding, Arctic Monkeys, Junip, Modest Mouse,
Ratatat, Glitch Mob, Chromeo, Warpaint, Tame Impala,
I'm not that picky about food, but I especially love Mediterranean
and Asian food.
The six things I could never do without
My phone, my car, coffee, my drawing tablet, family, and friends
(probably not in that order).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
people and their motivations, the impending zombie apocalypse, the
potential breeding of pandas and bald eagles for the ultimate
deadly cute animal.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging with friends trying to find an awesome new hole in the wall
place to eat or watching movies or TV shows or trying to find a
concert to check out. Occasional bar ventures with friends or
coworkers when I had an especially long workweek.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have never seen the Godfather in its entirety and honestly have
no desire to (Goodfellas was a much better ganster movie).
