What I’m doing with my life
I do public health work. I just finished a 2 year stint in Zambia (working in Maternal Health)...trying to keep women alive. Most recently, I was in Kenya working with UCSF and the CDC as a consultant on some HIV stuff. Before this, the scope of my work was mainly jail-based. I respect social justice.

As of now, I am with the SF Adult Probation Reentry Unit, coordinating programs and services for prisoners and trying to make things better. Trying to focus efforts in rehabilitation and community collaborations, rather than fueling the prison industrial complex. I love it! I like the folks that seem to get left behind. I like to help them rise. I AM NOT A PROBATION OFFICER.

I am a bit of a public health/health justice nerd. I am ok with this.
