My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have definitely had the life experience to know what I am looking for in a man. Not the consumate bachelor type, and yet not a serial dater either. I believe in relationships, but the connection has to be utterly authentic. Up for it though, if the right guy comes my way.

On the lighter side: I'm a goofball and expert story teller. I'm happy to risk my dignity to make my friends laugh. I'm one of those guys with a few close friends - I won't know everyone at the bar if we go out for drinks. I'm passionate, responsible and thoughtful about other people's emotions, and can be very romantic when i feel safe.

I am creative and honest.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After 12 years in LA which included a Bachelors in Music from UCLA and a JD from Loyola Law School, I work as a political consultant/lobbyist up here in San Francisco. Been here for about three years now and still love exploring the city. I do love my job and I am an eternally optimistic person, so most days get a "thumbs up" from me.

On the artistic side I am a clarinetist with the San Francisco Sinfonietta Orchestra and the San Francisco Wind Ensemble these days. Keeps me busy!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Expressing myself, communicating with others, and maximizing downtime.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
First 5 seconds: eyes and smile
First 5 minutes: sense of humor
First 5 years: loyalty, consistency
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my family, my laptop, my pit bull, my ipod, my friends, the gym, good sex, my sense of humor, the ability to break silly rules. :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Oh this could get deep! I think about the direction of my life a lot. I want to do it right. I think this is our one big shot, and I want to look back at it all when I am old and grey and say "yeah, I did a good job on that."
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
As a single guy: getting dinner and drinks with my friends
In a relationship: cooking dinner at home and planning the coming weekend's adventures with my guy. "Adventure" can be anything from Marin headlands hikes to a Netflix marathon curled up together on the couch. Its about the company you keep, after all.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I admitted it here it wouldn't be very private, now would it?
