I read too much. I have a love/hate relationship with the internet. My content intake (netflix, brick and mortar theaters, youtube, racks of dvd's I've boosted from the rich and given to the poor, PirateBay, my huge bookshelf, my regular use of my local library) is is way too high considering my amount of free time. I rage at my lack of OC (it flows at a trickle). My jibber jabber has been compared to that of Garrison Keillor (volume and level of humor) which have devolved into a handful of friends calling me GK and an equal number of alternate friends calling me Mumblefuck. I definitely lean towards geeky interests (I own a Jayne hat and enjoy comics, sci-fi and fantasy fiction/cinema, and have been known to rock out on my PS3).

Take from that what you will and God help you if it makes even a lick of sense.

Alternating between wanting to do something meaningful while at the same time stuck having to pay my bills.

Oh, and coming up with the perfect invasion plan to become the king of Cuba. Seriously have you seen that place? It's fucking beautiful.

Belligerence.
Push ups.
Crying at the end of Beauty and the Beast and Monster Squad (don't judge, they're sad damnit).
Cooking... if I have the recipe... and a lot of luck. Ok, ok, I LIKE to cook. I've been told I'm good but I'm always suspicious cause those are the same people who wouldn't be eating at all if I hadn't cooked.
Ignoring shit that don't matter. Nothing is trivial but there's a decent amount that can just fall by the wayside.

My laugh. It's been described as hearty and lumberjack-like. It's also been compared as similar to the villain's laugh in those Hong Kong kung fu movies but I've been told not to mention that aspect.

I want to put down a huge list but that would be abusing you, dear reader. Thus I'll try to keep it short.

Books: Dune, hands down my fav. WWZ, Mistborn triology, Tokyo Vice, Mouse Guard, Artesia series, The First Law triology, Old Man and the Sea, The Forever War.

Movies & Shows: Serenity, Black Hawk Down, Cowboy Bebop, Anchorman, Rent (except the end, what the fuck was that shit???), Lost Boys, B5, Forever Knight, Firefly, Dark City, Open Range, Redbelt, The Good the Bad and the Weird, Oldboy, Brisco County Jr, Band of Brothers, Community, Castle, 30 Rock.

With Music I'm a giant singles whore... except for Mumford and Sons. Those guys have got to be the first group that made an album I can listen to the whole way through since Lacuna Coil's Comalies. I've actually said the same thing on alikewise but this is the simple truth so I'll say it again.
I grew up poor so I have developed a high tolerance to being without. I've gone months without the internet or going to the movies, years without a cell phone or a car (have both now) and one time I went two days without water... long story, I'll tell you over tequila shots while we watch Tim Burton's Sweeny Todd.

What I want to listen to. When am I gonna get around to writing down that awesome book idea? Am I making a pork roll in the oven or am I ordering for Chinese? Why is this bear so angry with me, I didn't poke him that hard?

You know, the normal stuff.

Watching Supernatural. I am really, really over the bar scene now. This doesn't mean I won't go out to one anymore, it just means I won't go anymore with lackluster company or for no other reason than to drink. I own my own house and I can do that just fine on my backporch. I might even say "Get off my damn lawn you whippersnappers!" while out there.

I have an indescrible fear of zombies. Thus I read and watch an unhealthy amount of zombie fiction/cinema.

Just an update, please don't msg me if your answer to the question of 'If you were going to have a child, would you want the other parent to be of the same ethnicity as you?' is a yes. I actually read your match questions and I don't understand your stance and I don't understand why it's OK to have an interest in me but think multi-ethnic children are unacceptable. I'm half South American/half Puerto Rican just in case you were wondering.
