My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A friend told me about this site and I am a little freaked out by the prospect of online dating, but thought I should give it a whirl.

I have traveled a lot and gotten to see amazing places. Some of the most awe inspiring were Macchu Picchu in Peru and Jungfrau mountain in Switzerland.

I love hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, and breaking out into spontaneous dance. I always sing in the car.

I can be pretty quiet until you get to know me. I have a lot of friends, but only a few I call close. I am usually pretty observant and have a tendency to watch people to see what they are thinking.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I want to make the biggest positive impact I can on the people I come into contact with, whether it is at work or at play.

I teach elementary school but would like to train new teachers someday. In the spring I am going back to school to be a principal.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, teaching, making food that tastes good, and foosball.

I used to be good at soccer and volleyball, but tore my ACL a few years back. My knee hasn't really allowed me to get back into playing beyond rec.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My five head, and if they can get past that then probably my eyes or my smile
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I read a lot. It is hard to pick favorite books. My favorite authors are probably Lois Lowry and Margaret Atwood. I like fantasy and science fiction but read all different genres. Probably one of the most interesting books I've read is Columbine by Dave Cullen.

Movies - Again, I watch a lot of movies, across genres. Recently I watched a movie that really stuck with me called Hunger about the hunger strikes in Ireland in the 1980s. Some of my favorite movies are Amelie and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Shows - I don't have cable and don't have a lot of time to watch tv. When I do watch netflix or hulu I like True Blood, Game of Thrones, or The Walking Dead. I occasionally partake in ridiculous and horrible shows as well - I am a girl after all.

Music - favorites range from Santigold, Fiest, David Gray, the Beatles, Kings of Leon (earlier works), America, Band of Horses, Modest Mouse, Coldplay, Travis, and lots of others. At work, when I can, I listen to Bonobo. Love most genres except probably country, but I can get down with that every now and then also. Lately I have been listening to a lot of Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, and Grouplove.

Food - I eat it. My favorite food is sushi, but I like almost everything. I am not afraid of spicy.

Pretty much everything normal and abnormal that a person thinks about

For instance, licorice...looks and feels like plastic but tastes so good. Why?

Out with friends or at home relaxing
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I never remember the punch line of jokes. Not too private, but, to be honest, I don't know you.
