I am a kind and silly person that (sadly?) is a bit too shy but thankfully that doesn't take away that I am always in for having some fun, going on city tours, late out night at a party or enjoying a thrilling adventure with friends, you name it. Naturally this doesn't mean I dislike quiet evenings at home, enjoying a movie in the cinema or having a candle light dinner in a nice restaurant. Better yet, I love these :D!

I love nature and it's animals and I show a lot of interest in different types of art like paintings, drawings, digital art and architecture. I happen to find myself for nearly 12 years in media design and web design and have therefore had these subjects around as my main interest.

Music is very important to me. I like a wide variety of music such as dance, trance, (christian) rock, hip-hop, r&b, alternative, drum & base, reggae and even some classical music and j-pop, j-rock. I don't even want to work without having some music on the background. When going out I don't just stand in the corner with a group of lurkers, I like to get on the dance floor and enjoy myself even though it sometimes makes me look more silly then I am.

One of the other things that keeps me busy are games. Although I enjoy board and card games a lot, right now I am specifically talking about video games^^;. I own a Xbox 360 and a Playstation 3, which I play a few games on from time to time. Luckily gaming isn't as time consuming as it used to be. Next to that I watch some television series. Since I am interested in Japanese culture and language I also watch some anime and try to learn some Japanese when able.

I am kind, silly, and passionate

What am I doing right now...
After studying Multimedia Design I quickly rolled out into real life. I followed up by doing freelance assignments for clients I would find in the neighborhood and found a job as a Webdesigner in Nijmegen (in the Netherlands). The job is decently paid and I am happy for being able to learn many things here too.

Next to my job I work and study for myself as well. I spend time to polish my skills and I enjoy helping out people. The little extra income from it is nice but what really counts for me is that I can spend time to make something other
Naturally next to this busy life I am always trying to have fun :)!

I really should ask one of my friends to complete this part at a later time, but I'll try to put in some useful info down here for now. One of the things people notice about me is probably the clothes I wear. Since I don't do any kind of drugs except for the occasional use of alcohol, I do save a decent amount of money which I gladly put into getting clothes. I really care a lot about how I look and what impression I leave for other people. Other then that people usually see me as a really kind and warm-hearted guy (I hope so at least) and I am a very quiet and polite person, especially when at a first meeting. Although... when you get to know me better you'll find out I am actually a really crazy person. I think a lot about silly things and sometimes it just bursts in waves out of me. Sometimes I may even say or do things you wouldnt ever have expected to hear or see from me o.o

Books I've read (and sometimes still do) usually are English fantasy. I don't like the idea of reading a book but when I do I somehow still get engulfed in it. Silly, isn't it! Besides that I browse a lot in books related to any kind of design work like: architectural, graphics, fashion, product, interior, web design and more. Im kind of a freak for things that look nice, cool or different and keep my eye out for latest trends and design. You can also count IKEA's product folders/magazines to my range of books, oh and don't forget Jamie Oliver.

As for movies, I don't really have favorite movies but I can say I enjoy a lot of different genre's. Comedy, thriller, horror, action or even deep drama movies are all of interest to me, as long as I expect it to be a good movie. A few movies I can say I enjoyed a lot are Pan's Labyrinth, Amelie, Reservoir Dogs, all Studio Ghibli movies and Disney's classic movies like Lion King and Mulan and I am a huge fan of Pirates of the Caribbean. I also watch some television series (details disclosed :p).

Next to the books and movies section... It's safe to say that I am still just a big kid and that I enjoy Anime and now and then also some Manga. Favorites here are Full Metal Alchemist, Ergo Proxy, Nana and some more... Excuse me for the gibberish for the people that don't get what I just said in this paragraph^^.

As said in my self-summary, music is very important to me. Artists on my list of favorites are Linkin Park, Nickelback, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Ne-yo, Tiesto, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Aerosmith. A wide choice I know.

As I love to cook I also love to eat well. I like meals and snacks from a lot of different cultures, especially from China and Japan, Spain, Italy and also from Surinam (small country above Brazil). I don't restrict myself to being afraid of trying new things. Try me out, I ate fried grasshoppers before!

Though thinking of the future is quite important for me, thanks to recent events these days I tend to go with the flow, I have a nice job that allows me to learn many things and gain new skills and I spend time with friends and family. In the future I will surely work on designing anything for large companies!

Usually after coming from work I just crash on my lovely couch though. Watching some series or anime or just listening to music while reading a little, chatting a while or browsing the web for anything that looks interesting only to wake up in the exact same spot the next morning. Either that or go out clubbing with a couple of friends. Dancing to the music until our legs burn!
