I've lived in NY for about 15 years and love the city. I'm really close with my family but they're all out west...the one big drawback to living here.

I'm a fairly low key, easy-going guy looking to meet a kind and smart guy who likes to hold hands in public. A good sense of humor is a big plus...if we tend to laugh a lot when we're around each other it's a good sign in my book.

I'm lucky to have a good project management job that pays the bills and gives me enough flexibility to do what I'm passionate about (acting, writing, LGBT equality issues). I play in a volleyball league and always look forward to Saturdays on the court and drinks afterwards with the guys. Thinking about a new travel adventure...

Ironing and remembering ridiculous details about movies. I have a horrible memory, but for some reason movie trivia sticks like glue.

READS: I'm in a little book club which keeps me reading a variety of stuff but I'm partial to the Harry Potters, His Dark Materials, A Single Man, The Passage, Peace Like a River, New York magazine
MOVIES: Star Wars, The Graduate, Broadcast News, Say Anything, Atonement, Pitch Perfect, Waiting for Guffman, Weekend, Magnolia, almost any documentary
TV: The Daily Show, Bill Maher, Rachel Maddow, Project Runway, Downton Abbey (already missing it), Game of Thrones, Girls, The Comeback
MUSIC: A little bit of everything...Mumford and Sons, Dixie Chicks, Erasure, Decemberists, Pet Shop Boys, Mamas & The Papas
