My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a life long learner who is curious about the world. I am interested in all sorts of different, all kinds of music, movies, books, science, philosophy. I most readily identify with Buddhist philosophy of living every moment with awareness (although I am not always so good at that). I am nerdy and goofy. I am just as happy going to a lecture about cosmology as I am dancing around at the Solstice Parade.

I love to laugh. If you can make me laugh, that is amazing. I especially like British comedy - Eddie Izzard, Monty Python, The IT Crowd, Simon Peg and Nick Frost and so on.

I am happy, friendly, and curious
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Volunteering at providence hospice, looking for a new job, and working on a daily meditation practice (not always so successfully).

Also looking for authentic connection in my dating life. Would like to eventually find a relationship, but for now, I'd like to meet people who want to connect on a real level and are open to what each moment brings.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning and laughing. Putting together Ikea furniture (I love it! It's very Zen for me). Knowing the words to an inordinate amount if songs. Being fascinated and/or awed by simple and/or fairly mundane things (or what others might see as simple and mundane). Reading maps and finding my way. Exploring Seattle and/or any town I happen to be in. Finding humor in almost any situation.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
• my childlike wonder
• my penchant for laughter
• my compulsion to say hi to all dogs i walk by

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
learning, loved ones, growth, inspiration, laughter and tea
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to live in the moment, be more mindful and ways to enjoy life. The Dharma, meditation, how to embody my values.

Course there's also the world, art, culture, how to laugh more, how to be more fully in my body, how to be more present, how to love without expectations, and how to be a better listener and communicator.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends really..

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
• you have joie de vivre
• you want to openly explore ideas about life, philosophy, science, communication, relationships
• you genuinely want to connect with another person whether on just a human, friend or romantic level
• you just want to have coffee. No need for any high pressure, first date, can-I-see-myself-with-this-person-romatically nonsense (I am open to meeting all manner of new friends and/or potential partners. I don't want to limit my interactions only to those people with whom I sense romantic possibilities. I would value the chance to meet a new friend with whom I can learn and develop myself)
