Let me start off by saying that I am terrible at filling out things about myself, Especially in text. I am much more articulate in person and these things kinda of strike me as applied narcissism at best and noetic masturbation at worst. Anyway lets do this thing! So I am fairly outgoing when necessary but am perfectly content to just lounge about sucking up oxygen like a sponge. Sarcasm is my preferred method of communication these days and is also extremely attractive to me, and my sense of humor can best be described as twisted. This is probably the case because I have spent the last ten years cooking in tiny rooms with bearded angry men and things can get a little dark. I'm not college educated but I read anything and love inane facts and esoteric ideas. Sometimes I enter a fugue state of sorts and will obsessively try to learn all I can about a subject and consider myself to be fairly intelligent. I am a very loyal person once you get to know me ; one of those people you can call at 3 am for a shovel and a bag of quick lime no questions asked. My group of friends is extremely close knit and we have known each other since grade school, but are accepting of "new members" as it were. I am a gamer but not in the halo lets go get some fucking mountain dew sense. I play alot of old school games, mostly rpgs but my mario skills are strong. Not obsessive about it but sometimes I need to smoke a bowl and play some chrono trigger to find my inner peace. Struggling as a recovering workaholic, most of the withdrawal symptoms have faded,although I am a chef so my work is important to me, it is my passion because otherwise I wouldn't do it(the hours are brutal). As such I love to cook for other people, I consider it one of the best forms of hedonism.

Right now I am reading, , attempting to quit smoking cigarettes and basically just trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Recently got out of a fairly intense relationship so attempting to see what being single is like. Oh yeah, and toiling ceaselessly for fun and profit. Work at two local restaurants, keeps me pretty busy.

cooking, street fighter, listening and arguing. Making things out of lighters and plastic. No really, I am like a MacGuyver of melted straws. Its a life skill. I used to be able to beat the original Mario bros in ten minutes, although I am a little rusty now. Using the "I" too much when I write. Thats a life skill too! Also I am a certified knife wielding badass. If a onion is ever talking shit to you call me. I will make it rue the day it was picked. Or use it in a roux the day it was picked even. Food jokes are for cool people.

My red beard and my height. People say i have a "open" face. Unless I am at work, people seem to think Im angry when really Im just listening to radiolab on my headphones zoning out.

Its really hard for me to list all my favorite books. My parents owned a bookstore and currently I have 3,000 books on my Droid so its a safe bet to say that I will read pretty much anything. I read very fast especially when I am bored and sometimes read a book a day. I really enjoy hardcore scifi and fantasy but also read some nonfiction. I read Dune like once a year just to ground myself in reality and although I love books I am not a huge fan of Tolkien. It has to do with his prose, strikes me as literary diarrhea sometimes. Unable to get to a point without describing the history of every rock Frodo comes across. As for movies my favorite guilty pleasure movie is probably Hackers or Clueless. I shouldnt admit to the last one more than likely, but I think its cute. I am addicted to MST3K and rifftrax, thats my lullaby at night these days. Bobs burgers and acrcher are really the only shows I am keeping up with, on a whole I dont watch alot of tv. My taste in music can best be described as either eccleteic or horrible depending on your mood. Jazz, crappy 90's rock, classical, gangsta rap, video game scores, dubstep. It really dosent matter to me, I get exposed to tons of random music at work and I listen to what I like. Food is my passion of sorts. Some times its a love hate relationship, but it keeps me whole. I dont have a "favorite" food as I will eat anything damn near. I do have perfect food though. Tomatoes and salt, Figs and some sort of salty meat, bread and butter, doritos(from the freezer) and mountain dew. I love cheese. There, I said it. In fact one of my favorite quotes is Emerson :"Cheese is milk's leap towards immortality".

Books, friends,women,headphones at work,the pre hungover chinese food sacrifice bong hit and cooking for people. Maybe China Delight, but thats seven.

I hate to be alone for long periods of time. I like myself but too much time in my own head and I start to cannibalize myself
