My name is Kyle and I graduated from Ball State University in
Muncie, IN with a degree in computer science. I know what you're
thinking, "Oh, geez, what a nerd." And you'd be right, I'm a
computer nerd at heart. I love anything and everything about them.
I don't fall into the typical "nerdy" stereotypes, though. I don't
wear a pocket protector, I don't know anything about Star Wars, and
I don't play World of Warcraft. I love being outside, no matter if
it's doing yard work, at the
pool or
lake, or just out for a walk or
run. My latest thing has been
playing bingo with my grandma. So far I've won $200!
I'm a successful software developer at a company headquartered in
Fort Wayne. I write software that our employees use across the
United States and Canada. I love what I do but if I ever had to
pick another career path I think I would be a detective.
Although I keep putting off joining a gym, I still try to eat
healthy and exercise several times a week by jogging or if the
weather's not cooperating, riding a few miles on my exercise
bike.
I like animals and grew up with a Brittany Spaniel who was supposed
to be my dad's hunting dog but she was afraid of guns so that
didn't work out too well. I think I'm a little allergic to cats but
still enjoy being around them. I actually worked at a pet store
throughout high school so I guess you could say I like being around
all types of animals!
I am a very easy-going guy who can probably count on one hand how
many times I've been mad in my entire life. I like to just go with
the flow most of the time. I love
traveling but it's hard when you don't
have anyone to do it with! I spent three weeks in Australia and New
Zealand when I was in grade school and I think that's what really
sparked my interest in traveling so much. I wish I could do it all
over again now that I'm older. I've always been intrigued by space
exploration and the vastness of the universe and how small we
really are when you put it into perspective. I love watching
medical shows like Trauma: Life in the ER. I'm also a big fan of
The First 48 and Crime 360. Sometimes you'll catch me tuning in to
the History channel ;)
I joined looking for ways to meet new people with the goal of
dating or a long-term relationship. I'll try to finish this up by
describing some things that I look for in a woman. A few things
that are most attractive to me is a girl who is educated and
intelligent. This doesn't mean you have to have a college degree
but you must have good grammar and have intelligent conversations.
I look for someone who enjoys trying new things and is up for
anything. I'm not the best cook but would love spending time
learning with a special someone ;) I like watching sports and would
love traveling to different places to experience different sporting
events with someone. I'm not a hardcore sports person but do love
the
Colts!
Well, if that didn't scare you and you'd like to learn more, shoot
me a message!
I received a bachelor of science degree in computer science.
Currently, I am a software developer in Fort Wayne. The software
industry is pretty stable (and well-paying :P) so I think I'll be
doing this for a long time. I currently do a lot of web development
but there are many, many more development positions I could try if
I got bored.
I'm really good at listening and being there for friends no matter
if it's just to chat or if they need help with a tough decision. I
tend to think very logically and don't get emotional in most
situations (maybe that's a bad thing?)
The first thing people notice about me is that I am quiet. It takes
me a bit to loosen up. I tend to let the other person make the
first contact in social situations. This is something I've been
trying to work on.
It sounds funny, but several women have complimented me on my
eyelashes. Apparently, I have nice ones? Yeah, weird.
I can eat almost anything. There isn't much that I don't like. My
favorite movies are usually scary ones or suspenseful thrillers. I
like to listen to all types of music. You probably won't catch me
listening to heavy metal, though. My latest tastes in music have
got me listening to a lot of Fall Out Boy, Relient K, and Cartel.
My current favorite song is America's Suitehearts by Fall Out Boy.
The six things I could never do without are my laptop, iPhone, car
(I love my Civic Si :D), internet, TV, and my family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about how things are done/made
especially if they're technology related. I've always been
intrigued by technology and how it affects our lives.
I'll admit, I don't get out as much as I used to. If I make it out
I'm usually doing something like a bonfire, dining out and stopping
somewhere for dessert, or out for a quick drink.
