My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Yes.

I like having a good think while walking. I generally evaluate travel destinations in terms of the interesting new alcohol that's likely to be available. I am a bitter pessimist and probably too idealistic to be political. I overthink things. I am a huge nerd, but I do get paid for that.

I also write. I have been paid more than fifty pence for things I have written, which I'm pretty sure makes me a "professional science fiction author". The best thing I've written is this.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I create heavyweight software for a huge multinational corporation, but that's likely to change soon.

Iain M. Banks' death has saddened and unnerved me, so I'm also writing as much as I can while I'm still alive. Which could be another fifty years but you get the point. It turns out that making the cover for a book is a lot more difficult than writing it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making that one ginger cake I make. I don't know, maths, spelling? I'm also ridiculously organised.
The first things people usually notice about me

The hair.

I am not, in fact, the one who knocks. That's the other guy.
