My Self-Summary
I'm looking for two things: friends, and women to date.
With friends I love to talk about our hopes, dreams, and fears, and about culture, politics, langauge--anything that is a meeting of hearts and/or minds. I love to play tabletop RPG's, both D&D and some White Wolf. I like cooking, hiking, and crafting. If you are interested in any of these things and live in or near Tacoma, I'd love to hear from you.
As to the dating angle: I'm polyamorous, married, and bi. I've listed myself here as gay because I'm not interested in dating men right now, and I apologize if that's inconvenienced anyone.
I'm kind, somewhat hapless, and kinky. I enjoy laughably bad action movies, but I still want to talk about feelings.
My internal landscape has beauty that I've worked for: well-arranged trees and flowers, carefully-tended bonsai, little streams and fountains. And there are the wilds, deep forests where beasts hunt. So yeah, I've got issues, but I'll be able to warn you so you see them coming. ;)

I teach Spanish at a high school in the Puget Sound area. Somehow
I'm herding 150 teenagers towards a goal of Learning Things, and
they generally seem to be doing it.

The first things people usually notice about me
I look younger than I am. I have big boobies (see photo). And for
some reason, I suppose many people see "trustworthy" and "I care
about you" floating over my head because so many strangers have
decided to tell me their life stories at various points. Thing is,
I generally am those things, which means that I also get hit up for
spare change, underage cigarettes (before they know I'm a teacher),
and other such things. Oh well.

Books: Anything by Ursula K. Le Guin and C.S.Lewis (though mostly
his nonfiction), also anything by Issac Asimov. The Kushiel series
by Jaqueline Carey, the collaborations between Mercedes Lackey and
Tom Mallory, and narrative histories like The Dirt on Clean.
Food: Anything. I love food.
Music: I enjoy a lot of music but it's never been super-important to me. I recently discovered Owl City which is made of happiness and rainbows.
