I'm Lauren, I'm 22, and I'm currently working on my masters in Deaf Education. I love ASL/Deaf culture, I love kids, I love crafting and spending hours on the internet, and I love being around people who love me. I pay a (possibly) creepy amount of attention to you and I'll remember that one thing you told me that one time (like how you've always collected shot glasses with corny sayings on them or how you never had a Furby as a kid and you've always wanted one) and then on your birthday/Christmas/whenever I'll make up an elaborate scavenger hunt with clues specific to you and your life which you will love and will then lead you to the shot glass that says "Shoot for the stars, so if you miss you'll land on the moon" or the creepy-ass Furby I had to fight some guy on ebay to get for you.

I'm also good at InDesign, putting off work until the last possible minute, and writing emails.

My height-- I'm 6'1" (but no, I don't play volleyball or basketball... I know you were all thinking it)

Books: because I'm super trendy right now it's The Hunger Games series, but I also love Harry Potter like any proper 90s child. Recent favorites include Room, The Glass Castle, and Bossypants. And John Green books.

Movies: Titanic. Always Titanic. Or anything Disney.

Shows: Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, RuPaul's Drag Race, Bones, Glee, and anything on Food Network (especially Chopped)

Music: Mumford and Sons, Regina Spektor, Radical Face, Ingrid Michaelson, The Wailin' Jennys, Greg Laswell, Florence + The Machine... if it's mellow and has a piano or a girl with a guitar, I'm in. Also Ke$ha. And Taio Cruz. And recently Pitbull/Flo Rida?

Food: Anything chocolate. Or made with cream cheese.
