My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

I am NOT interested in long distance relationships.

tl;dr: I'm a geek, I like geeky people. If you like to play games, enjoy sci fi/fantasy/horror/superheroes/zombies, love cats and dogs, and have a soft spot for girls with coloured hair, send me a message! (Note: My profile says I don't want kids. I am not adverse to dating someone with kids, I just don't want my own.)

I am a happy, geeky, creative gal who loves sci fi, urban fantasy, magic, games, super powers, post-apocalyptic worlds, zombies, blue boxes that make funny noises, and dangerous creatures.

I'm an artist! I make art and go to comic expos. I am focusing on creating a body of work in both visual arts and jewellery. :)

I'm looking for someone who is fun, geeky, outgoing, independent, who enjoys some sci fi/fantasy/gaming/etc. Sharing some core interests is important to me. If we have nothing in common, I'm not going to carve out some time to meet you. Sorry. Having 'me' time is also important, as I need to relax after busy work days and be lazy sometimes. If you actually read this far, my name is Lacy. Mention it in your message.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've moved back to Cremona to help my dad with our acreage, grow my own food, and focus on my art. :) I'll still be back to Calgary often though.

Working on art for the comic expos. I have cats and a dog that make my house a home, and also eat me out of house and home. I love to cook and bake, and watch tv - anything from Mythbusters to TED Talks to whatever series I'm neck deep in - while I work.

I am attempting to make my art into something resembling a career. It's a slow but fulfilling process.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being enthusiastically excited about anything I'm interested in.
Dragging people kicking and screaming into my fandoms. You're welcome. ;) Art.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My brightly coloured hair, my smile, or my wild flailing about anything I'm enthusiastically into. Possibly my geeky tee shirt. :)

Movies: I totally love most of the superhero movies, zombies, Nightmare on Elm Street, Poltergeist... I'm pretty easy to please as far as movies go, I enjoy almost anything! I love comedy, too... and my secret shame is that I love teen movies.

And older shows: Firefly, House, Buffy, Dark Angel, Dead Like Me, Dollhouse... - I am not caught up on a lot of the new shows, so don't you dare spoiler me or I'll meet you just to kick you in the knee.

Music: Some of my favorite bands are She Wants Revenge, Dido, Dragonette, The Spill Canvas, Amanda Palmer, Black Lab, Michael Buble, Roy Orbison, Suzanne Vega, Shivaree, Collide. I love Jonathan Coulton and Kirby Krackle! And musicals from anywhere - current top is Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
