I'm Jennifer. I'd say nice to meet you, but that's kind of played out. I'm a single mom of two ah-mazing kids. I'm not going to do the whole, "ZOMG My kids are my WORLD and they ALWAYS come first!!!!!!!" because you should already know this. If you'll notice, it says "Does not want any more kids". I had my tubes tied to do the whole "responsible" thing because I believe in not having more kids than you can care for by yourself. Two is my limit. On the flip side of that, it CAN be reversed and obviously if I ever got into a serious relationship and got married to a partner that had no kids or wanted more it would be considered. Likewise, single dads are more than welcome to apply. I love kids, and most of the time they like me pretty well too.
About me you ask? "Geek" and "gamer" both come to mind if I had to sum it up in one word. Both are pretty accurate. I love to read. My favorite authors include: Stephen King (my favorite book EVER is Bag of Bones), Phillipa Gregory, Jodi Picoult, James Rollins, James Patterson (the Alex Cross novels specifically), Lisa Scottoline, etc. I probably forgot someone. I also enjoy reading biographies and true crime. I love video games. I don't like FPS too much, I suck at them. I'm the idiot that runs down the middle of the street shooting randomly to get everyone's attention while my sniper teammates pick you off. While that does play a role, it gets boring after awhile lol. I'm more of an RPG type, preferably without a party or forced interaction with other people. I never played WoW for that reason. I do however play Diablo 3 (LOVE!!!! Lvl 60+5 Witch Doctor, thanks! Also working on a Demon Hunter), Skyrim, Borderlands 2 (PS3), Kingdoms of Amalur, and such. My taste in music is kind of varied. Lately I've been favoring my "90s Country" and "Rock" stations on Pandora. I'm a very random and "quirky" kind of person. I prefer texting to talking on the phone. And, I started college January 2013. I'm getting my AS at Wallace then I plan to transfer to Troy for my Special Education certification. It's a challenge juggling school, home, and kids but I manage. On a typical Friday nite I'm usually at home with the kids, and after they go to bed I'm watching a movie or playing a game. I don't really get out much lol. I've recently started a "lifestyle change" of sorts. I'm trying to eat better and exercise, and I gave up sodas. It's a work in progress, but Rome wasn't built in a day right?
Now let's get to about you. I don't care about weight (well, in the spirit of honesty, I probably prefer "chunky" guys to skinny guys), or tattoos or piercings (or your lack thereof, but I have three tats myself with plans for three more), your religious status (as long as you are respectful and don't get pushy about it), the money in your wallet (I'm independently owned and operated, but thanks anyway), or any combination thereof or unmentioned. I'm not Barbie, so I'm not looking for Ken (and let's face it guys, some of you are looking for that perfect 10 when you yourself are only like a 6 or 7, be real here). I'm more of a personality kind of person. If you're a genuine person, and you can make me laugh, you'll probably at least make it to First Date status. At this point in my life, the random/casual stuff (read, sex) just isn't where it's at anymore. I would genuinely like to make a connection and have a relationship. I'd also like to point out, I'm not looking for a "daddy" for my kids (they each have their own, and I got incredibly lucky with that. Both of them are very involved with their children). In fact, I'd go so far as to say you'd be lucky to even meet my kids within a few months unless we happen to meet at the park or something. That's just how I am. Also I'd like to add, if you are judgemental or incredibly emotionally unstable...please pass my profile by and save us both some unnecessary drama mmk? Thanks ahead!
Please don't be afraid to hmu and ask a question, or stop by to say hello. Do you have a recommendation for book or a game? I'd love to hear it! Do you play any of the same things I do? Maybe we can run a game together sometime! If you don't ask you'll never know. I do my best to answer all mail, but as you can imagine life gets hectic sometimes. I also go for days at a time without logging in to OKC, but I do get e-mail notifications when I get messages, so don't let that be a deterring factor.
