My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been called brave, courageous, and even inspirational. I don't know about all that. I just do what I've got to do and appreciate the small miracles of every day. I'm willing and eager to attempt most anything, especially if it's fun.

My glass half full attitude is what keeps me young and free-spirited. Pretense - what's that? I'm not afraid be who I am and say exactly what's in my heart or on my mind. Unashamed to admit that I'm a geek: I love playing Dungeons & Dragons, watching Doctor Who, and reading the novels of R.A. Salvatore. Though, I do enjoy a lot of mainstream activities as well, such as going to the theater, going out to eat, art galleries, museums, bonfires, and other miscellaneous things.

While not religious, I am a very spiritual person, and enjoy attending Unity of Indianapolis. Unity is part of the New Thought movement. My belief is that what people call God is more a field of potentiality than anything else, and I love being in the flow of prosperity.I am spiritual but not religious, and my church is Unity of Indianapolis. It is important to note that I do not believe Jesus was God any more than we are all children of God, and I believe that we are all cells in the body of God. I believe that he was a master teacher who channeled divinity better than most, but he also said, "These things and better shall you do."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have been married twice and have two children by my first marriage, both of whom are adults with lives of their own. They are 29 and 32. I've been on my own for the last 8 years. I hope to one day have a relationship with my granddaughter, but that's up to my daughter and her husband. Despite my prior two marriages, I hope to get married again.

I am also going school soon, care of Vocational Rehabilitation. I a (IvyTech). I am trying to choose which career path, but for certain it will be something technical as I love computers and gadgetry in general. A friend suggested Cyber Security, but Computer Programming also sounds interesting Both sounds really interesting and promising. I have my FAFSA done, then I need to contact the financial aid office and enroll. I'm so excited!

I yearn to travel , explore, learn, and do new things. If there is a way to do it, I will find it! There's a way to do almost anything, I've found. Sometimes you have to be creative, and I am definitely creative. Improvise, Adapt, Overcome! It's more than a motto, it's my life.

Neither experience has reduced my desire to marry again.

I believe in a life without limits. Whatever it is you love to do, I'm game to try and find a way to do it with you.

So tell me, what is it you like to do?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The number one thing I'm good at is honesty. Often to a fault, some would say. Even what some call "white lies" are difficult for me, and I often end up telling on myself.

I am good at making people smile. Often I enjoy waving and smiling at people when I am waiting on the bus. It's fun to see their reactions.

I enjoy being creative, whether it's writing, or making a picture in DAZ Studio, or even coloring with crayons. I just ordered some memory for my computer so I can take it up to 8 GB and hopefully have a happier experience both gaming and running DAZ. Currently I am playing Skyrim and I'm into an email D&D game. I am saving money to buy a new computer, or the parts to build one (whichever is cheaper). I am a beginning knitter, intermediate crocheter, and I dabble in chainmail from time to time. But I especially enjoy writing, and I do that best of all.

A new wheelchair is being ordered for me, the TiLite TX, and hopefully that will go through without a hitch. I'd love to have it before GenCon.

I am politically liberal and have an open mind and heart. I believe in equal rights for all, including but not exclusive to LGBTQ. I am also Pro Choice.

It has been pointed out that I "didn't mention sex" in this profile. I do not understand why that is necessary? Would one ask that if I weren't a wheelchair user? But, for those curious, yes, I am fully functional in that regard and do enjoy a good romp in the bedsheets with the one I love.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The smile on my face along with my positive attitude and strength of spirit, sweet innocence, and trusting nature. "Cute" and "Adorable" are two words often attributed to me.

Though lately it seems that my assistance dog, Duke, is the show stopper. And who can blame them? He is a very handsome and talented black Lab.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite author is
R. A. Salvatore. I'm a Drizzt fan girl, but I also enjoy his DemonWars novels.

I am loving playing Skyrim on my PC.

I have a variety of taste in music from Beatles to KISS, to Cauterized and lots of stuff in between.

As with music, my taste in food is varied as well. I love chocolate, though. And dutch salty licorice. But I'm sure I'll love whatever you cook, as my culinary skills leave much to be desired. I'd love to learn, though; so if you would be my teacher, I would love that!

I enjoy a variety of movies as well, but my guilty pleasure is superhero movies, especially the ones from the Marvel universe. I loved Age of Ultron.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Optimism and the belief that things will work out.
2. Chocolate.
3. My dog.
4. A good book.
5. A bag of polyhedral dice
6. My computer and the Internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about that which I want to manifest in my life. I believe strongly in Law of Attraction/The Secret and practice it daily with expressions of gratitude and visualizing and meditating on what I want in my life. Right now my two main focuses are an income that is more than enough and a loving man who shares my interests.

I also have been giving a lot of thought as to what I want to do with the rest of my life and what I want to study at Ivy Tech.

I think a lot about D&D character builds and what character I want to play next. And Skyrim character builds.

And... Oh... Butterfly!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing D&D at a friend's house or at Unity of Indianapolis for a church event. My church has some awesome concerts and it's delightful to go to them. More often than not, though, I'm home just chilling with my service dog Duke, watching Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
We'll discuss that privately.
