My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
EDIT: I've been in a relationship since 12/25/2013. My boyfriend is one of the most understanding people in the world. Still will welcome any new friends I can make.

I've been called brave, courageous, and even inspirational. I don't know about all that. I just do what I've got to do and appreciate the small miracles of every day. I'm willing and eager to attempt most anything, especially if it's fun. And that includes getting on the floor to play with animals or children or to start a tickle fight!

My glass half full attitude is what keeps me young and free-spirited. Pretense - what's that? I'm not afraid be who I am and say exactly what's in my heart or on my mind. Unashamed to admit that I'm a geek: I love playing RPGs, watching Doctor Who, and reading the novels of R.A. Salvatore.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At the moment I am working on a children's book on assistance dogs. I am so excited about this opportunity. More about it as the project evolves, but I already have an editor, illustrator, and publisher lined up.

I was planning on going to GenCon last August, but plans changed: I got matched with an assistance dog from Assistance Dogs for Achieving Independence, up in Sylvania, OH, so I was in Toledo, OH, for two weeks training with my new best friend, Duke. I thought I was independent before, but with his help I'm even more independent than ever. What a blessing! I'm so grateful.

While not religious, I am a very spiritual person, and enjoy attending church at Unity of Indianapolis as well as spending time in meditation. Unity is part of the New Thought movement.

I yearn to travel , explore, learn, and do new things. If there is a way to do it, I will find it! There's a way to do almost anything, I've found. Sometimes you have to be creative, and I am definitely creative. Improvise, Adapt, Overcome! It's more than a motto, it's my life.

I believe in a life without limits. Whatever it is you love to do, I'm game to try and find a way to do it with you.

So tell me, what is it you like to do?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am really good at making people smile. Often I enjoy waving and smiling at people when I am waiting on the bus. It's fun to see their reactions.

I enjoy being creative, whether it's writing, or making a picture in DAZ Studio, or even coloring with crayons. I am a beginning knitter, intermediate crocheter, and I dabble in chainmail from time to time. But I especially enjoy writing, and I do that best of all.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The smile on my face along with my positive attitude and strength of spirit. Though lately it seems that my assistance dog, Duke, is the show stopper. And who can blame them? He is a very handsome and talented black Lab.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite author is RA Salvatore. I'm a Drizzt fan girl, but I also enjoy his novels that are not a part of the Forgotten Realms world.

I have a variety of taste in music from Beatles to KISS, to Cauterized and lots of stuff in between.

As with music, my taste in food is varied as well. I love chocolate, though. And dutch salty licorice.

I enjoy a variety of movies as well, but my guilty pleasure is superhero movies, especially the ones from the Marvel universe.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

3. My cat.
4. A good book
5. Dungeons & Dragons
6. My computer and the Internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking about that which I want to manifest in my life. I believe strongly in Law of Attraction/The Secret and practice it daily with expressions of gratitude and visualizing and meditating on what I want in my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing D&D at a friend's house or at Unity of Indianapolis for a church event. My church has some awesome concerts and it's delightful to go to them.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am really looking forward to meeting you!
