My self-summary
"You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one."

I'm Laura. I'm a drinker of coffee, watcher and (very rare)maker of cinema, baker of food, reader of comics, writer of things, listener of music and fan of penguins, fireworks, media and gummy bears. I'm a fan of many other things too but those are a few of the highlights.

I'd like to think I'm pretty easy going, I like to laugh and have good conversation. I'm equally happy going on adventures or just spending all day watching Netflix. I admire honesty, consideration and sincerity. I am a patient person, but I have no patience for intolerance, rudeness or bad table manners.

I'm looking for someone who admires similar qualities, likes to have fun, witty and intelligent conversation, go on adventures and just generally be silly sometimes! An ability to cope with British humour is a must. I have strong opinions, on my political beliefs as well as the ending of LOST, so if you can't handle a good debate I'm probably not for you.
What I’m doing with my life
I just moved to Seabrook, mainly for a change of scenery and partly for school.

I'm currently working on a degree in media and communication, with a minor in political science. Considering taking classes in journalism as well.

But mostly I'm just trying to finish watching The West Wing.
I’m really good at
I have an affinity for the written word, but since I don't think you can say "I'm good at reading", I've been told I'm a pretty good writer. I enjoy doing it at least.

Baking. I've been complimented on my cooking as well.

Procrastinating.

Annoying my kitty :D

Binge watching TV shows.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Far too many to list. I've thought about writing a highlights list but I'm afraid once I start I will never stop writing it.
The six things I could never do without
This section is silly, I'm rebelling against it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My family back home. I miss them, especially during this time of year. (Disclaimer: I'm not American. I grew up in Scotland/England and moved here about 7 years ago. And yes I say water "funny", as my friends tell me).

My career. With my field there are endless possibilities and I'm excited about all of them.

Did Yul Brenner finally kissing Sanka's lucky egg jinx the Jamaican bobsled team?
On a typical Friday night I am
Uh. Another rebellion question, pass!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I will never get over the death of Sirius Black.

You like good conversation, fun times, by some miracle you work in a gummy bear factory.

Or you can arrange for me to stalk the set of Doctor Who.... I mean visit. Yeah, visit....

You like cats. I love cats, I like dogs too but I can't handle a hatred of the greatest creatures on the planet.
