I have a BA in Psychology and am working on my MA in Early Childhood Ed. I work at a preschool with three and four year olds, which is amusing, heartbreaking, and incredibly challenging. I am in the process of getting divorced, which luckily is amicable. Strangely enough the same three adjectives aply. However I agree with Spinoza who said that "[a]ll happiness or unhappiness solely depends upon the quality of the object to which we are attached by love”. Make of that what you will :)

I am a total geek, and though I don't have much time for it anymore, I love to play video games and rpgs like D&D. I also am sort of an experimental cook and tend to go mad scientist in the kitchen. I start lots of projects like crocheting or knitting scarves or sewing curtains that I get partway through and forget about for months then finish or turn into something else.

I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy novels, though I have an addiction to terrible fantasy romances right now. There really is no accounting for tsste. At least I can't account for that particular taste, blame it on an overactive imagination I suppose... I love philosophy and physics. I try to understand them, but so far have limited success. I have a drooly cat who routinely invades my personal space, which is adorable and gross.

I am sarcastic, ironic and alternate between annoying optimism and extremely dark humor. I like to laugh at the awful parts of life. I also think that a good zombie invasion would be great for the world.

I'm looking for a friend, a confidant, a partner in crime with a sense of humor, steady job, and own gaming system. Please send picture of gaming system.

Right now, this minute? Finishing school and working.

What I want to do with my life is finish my master's degree. Maybe open my own charter school. Maybe travel. Maybe invent something or learn to paint. Take piano lessons again, or join a choir. Garage band?

I'm just figuring it all out and pursuing my happiness, which I am assured is an inalienable right.

Then comes the obscure humor based on philosophy, literature, grammar, internet and geek culture, and irony. I'm a big fan of irony. Most of my jokes are directed at myself, I can take as well as dish it out, so bring on self-deprecation!
