My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been living alone ( except for my dogs ) for the past 6 years since my husband died. I miss sharing my life with that one most important person
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm semi retired - just work 2 days a week - the perfect combination of career and free time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Some people would say 'Spending money', but actually I'm a very organized person so I'm good at arranging travel plans for my step-daughter and myself.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love to read and usually have 2 or 3 books on the go at any time. I enjoy anything by Wilbur Smith, Dick Francis, and any book that I feel I've learned something by reading it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, My friends ( including my stepdaughters ), My dogs, My cottage, My travels - that's only 5 but they're the most important.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I'm going on my next trip - right now it's a Safari to Kenya and Tanzania, with stops in Dubai and Zanzibar in September.
Wow, the trip in September was amazing - wonderful people, fascinating countries, and up close and personal (OK - still inside the van ) with all of the Big Five, as well as Cheetahs.
Now a trip to Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Borneo is in the planning stages for March.
And that trip is now history too, and again it was wonderful - a surprising and beautiful country.
Leaving on Boxing Day for a cruise from Santiago Chile to Tahiti - seems like a good way to avoid the January Blahs. January has come and gone, although Easter Island was interesting and Tahiti was beautiful, I'll never forget Fakarava or Pitcairn Island.
This fall we have a Mediterranean cruise planned , then Indonesia in March.
And once again those trips are history. This fall we are going on a cruise from Istanbul to Athens, then Burma/Myanmar in January.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home or driving to the cottage.
