Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Imagine our eyes meeting across a crowded room. We smile. Will you
make the first move? Should I? Primarily we will decide on a purely
visceral feeling--knowing nothing about each other. Are you ready
find out about me, hear my story and I will hear yours? A little
old fashioned, but I am tired of endless messaging with
I am looking for the man whose eyes light up when I walk into the
room, he has a smile just for me and he's the one who holds a kiss
that makes my heart leap. And hopefully I am holding that same kiss
for him--the one that makes him weak in the knees. I am hoping to
find someone who will 'have my back' if I need him.
I don't consider myself 'high maintenance' or a drama queen---not
much 'baggage.' I enjoy the simple, sweet things in life as much as
a night at the opera or stadium. I am definitely a romantic and
look for old fashioned chemistry to figure out if we might be a
match. And yes, I kinda' expect it to be instant when we meet for
the first time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am working hard to make a difference in the lives of the children
I tutor and just plain working hard in all aspects of my life--not
everyone gets that chance. I am fighting the aging process as much
as I can with time at the gym and eating healthy. Yes, I have time
for you---and I'm anxious for it! I am ready for dancing, live
music, live sports, museums, opera, musicals, jazz, street faires,
walking in the redwoods. I'm open for new experiences. What will
you introduce to me? What are your favorites? Golfing? Horseback
riding? Fishing? Hiking? (All so much fun!) Cycling? I've done my
share in the gym, is it time to buy a buy a bike and try the trails
or streets with you? Bottom line--all things are more fun with a
friend. And THAT is what I miss. To almost everything I say, "why
not?" Let's be kids again.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a firewalker---yes, I walked over white hot coals barefooted
and it was incredibly empowering! (I don't pretend to know how it
works.) I am GREAT at staying positive no matter what. In my life I
feel like I've walked over hot coals (metaphorically) many times. I
take great pride in saving lives by donating blood every 8 weeks!
I'm creative, organized and love layout and design work. I'm great
friend, sister, mother and daughter. I enjoy cooking, making summer
jam, baking cookies (especially for someone I love!) I'm a great
writer---and I am hopeful it will work in this venue.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never seen anything original here...so skipping the
obvious---you can have an engaging conversation with me--I'm not a
vapid bimbo, even if I am a blonde with curves....

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Seriously-what is the deal with prime numbers???
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
at the gym for a 5:30 spin class. (I never can figure out if I am
ending the week on a good note or starting out the weekend
positively!) Then various things...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll be very happy to whisper some very private thoughts to you
when I get to know you... ;)
