25 years old when it comes to having fun, 50 years old when it comes to going to bed on time. Somehow I make the two work.

I moved here 7 years ago from Southern California, but I have both a Lawrence Arms and a Chicago flag tattoo. So that makes me a real Chicagoan, right? Even if I do like ketchup on my hot dog?

Working, a lot. Other than that, vacations, getting myself into stupid and/or ridiculous situations, and listening to enough music to damage my hearing.

I have severe wanderlust and always want to visit new places. If I could ditch my job and travel the world I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Books: Non-fiction, usually. Anything about history, science, politics, etc. My Dad just wrote a zombie novel called 'The Lazarus Jar' and it's good. You should buy it! /endplug

Movies: Lincoln, The Sessions, all the Harry Potter movies, Wizard of Oz, Streetcar Named Desire, and so on...it'd be cool to meet someone who can broaden my horizens in this area.

Shows: The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Hell on Wheels, Deadwood, Downton Abbey, the Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, King of the Hill, PBS, PBS, and PBS. OH! And Investigation Discovery.

I hate reality TV. I swear to god I watched Jersey Shore once and it gave my brain herpes.

Music: Loud music where people scream and make my ears bleed....and I love motown and soul...Sam Cooke is my spirit animal.
