A little about me: I'm an open book and I don't play games. I know what I want and won't settle for less. I'm not afraid to go after what I want -- I'm confident and I love to laugh and have fun. I do admit that dating in L.A. has been more than a little frustrating, but I'm still optimistic that I can find someone - and something - that's real.

Here's what I'm not: I'm not the type to drink all night and act like a moron, take a picture of myself without a shirt, or lie on my profile to make women believe I'm someone I'm not. I'm not a flake, which is something that unfortunately I've run into a lot in L.A. Serial daters, flakes and women looking for a sugar daddy, no need to apply...

I'm a sports writer/analyst for a major professional league in Los Angeles. A lot of my work is as a writer, but I also make regular TV video and radio appearances. I'm blessed and appreciate that I have such a great profession that I'm passionate about.

Sports, writing, public speaking, cooking, attempting to make people laugh, making conversation and planning cool road trips. I'm reliable, considerate, and I live by the Golden Rule (shouldn't we all?) I've also been told I'm a good listener and a loyal friend.

I've always been a guy's guy, so I like action, sports and horror. Some of my favorite movies are Rocky, Star Wars, Pulp Fiction, the original Halloween (to name a few). My favorite show is Cheers, but I also love Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and anything that has to do with the paranormal (very interesting to me). I love rock n' roll, especially the stuff from my generation like Van Halen, Journey, Motley Crue, etc. I also like current music like Lenny Kravitz, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls and Sevendust. You won't ever find me listening to rap or dance music, though! It's just not my thing.

I am pretty picky when it comes to dating and I definitely have a type physically - I have always liked women who are more on the slender and athletic side. But of course, looks aren't everything.

You're reliable, considerate, caring, honest and have a great sense of humor. Oh, and you are not a flake! And above all, you're seriously looking to find someone special - and get off this site :)
