I love a guy who has a sterling vocabulary and great sense of humor. And if you know your homonyms ---- ding, ding, ding ---- you’ve got a good chance of winning. I like a guy that knows how to communicate, laugh at kids, hold my hand during scary movies, and knows how to smoke a brisket. I want to take dancing and cooking lessons with my guy and I want him to serve me strong syrupy drinks with little umbrellas in them.
I’m not particularly looking for a soul mate --- rather someone who has my back, someone with whom I can glance across the room at a party -- and he'll know when I need rescuing, someone who "gets" my humor without me having to explain it. I want someone that will snuggle up with me on the couch on a rainy Sunday afternoon, and eat chocolate ice cream while watching reruns of the Big Valley and Bonanza, that is if the Cowboys aren't playing. Also, my guy will sometimes go to Church with me; I'm not a Bible thumper --- but my faith is important to me. Now if you consider that a soul mate --- that's fine too. It’s all really just semantics.
