My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Mark, and this is my second attempt at OkCupid.

I guess the important thing to get out of the way now is to tell you that I'm not exactly what you would call 'single.' I'm in a non-monogamous relationship with my wife. We've been living the poly lifestyle for well over two years now -- and it's awesome : )

Just because I'm married does not make me a scumbag or a cheater, so feel free to take any preconceived notions and toss them out of your nearest window...and google 'polyamory' while you're at it. Thanks : )

Other than that, I'm very easy-going, I have a great sense of humor, and I'm ready to meet new people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working as a lab technician at a company that manufactures poultry vaccines.

When I'm not working...

I used to play drums for a couple of local bands, jamming at bars around town, but nowadays I just like to chill at home with my acoustic guitar or ukelele (so cool, I know). I'm currently in the process of writing/recording some original material.

Frequenting flea markets and prowling through eBay, I'm always looking for comic books -- I collect comics from the 60s and 70s. Have any? Lemme see 'em. I'll make you a deal.

Working on projects around my house...THERE ARE SO MANY. FUCK.

Going to concerts and taking trips whenever I can afford to...so not too many of those.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procrastinating and spacing out for long periods of time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My freakishly long arms, my tattoos, and I guess my height, maybe? You tell me :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This is clearly going to be the longest section. Where to start, where to start...

Well, my favorite book genres are fantasy and horror, just as long as there's a healthy dose of dark/black humor and social satire. If it's Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, or Kurt Vonnegut, I'm all over that shit. Some of my favorite novels are: The Catcher in the Rye, Life of Pi, The Princess Bride, Dune, Catch-22, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and a billion others. Want to borrow a book? I've got plenty. Currently, I'm finishing up Stephen King's 'Dark Tower' series, as well as Robert Jordan's 'Wheel of Time' series. I also devour the 'Harry Potter' series on a bi-yearly basis. It's a bit of a weird nerd ritual. I could go on and on about books. Barnes and Noble is my happy place : )

My taste in movies is close to my taste in literature -- fantasy and horror, but I enjoy other genres outside that too. Some of my favorite films are Star Wars (IV-VI), Jaws (1 & 2), Ocean's 11, the Indiana Jones movies, Underworld (except for that last one...absolutely horrible), Sleepy Hollow, Step Brothers, and Anchorman. I also like watching documentaries that cover cryptology and real-world issues.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but there are a few shows that I hold dear to my heart. Breaking Bad, MST3K, SNL, Key & Peele, Bob's Burgers, South Park, Archer, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, The Daily Show, Modern Family, River Monsters, and Antiques Roadshow. Yeah, that's right -- Antiques Roadshow.

I'm a music snob. I'll put that out there right away. I like: The Beatles, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, CSN(&Y), Led Zeppelin, Beck, Rolling Stones, Black Keys, Bill Withers, Paul Simon, Cream, The Strokes, Alice in Chains, and Iron and Wine...this is just a small, small sample. I'm a pretty serious music-head. My tastes range mostly on the older side, but it really depends on my mood nowadays. Grateful Dead and The Band on one day, Macklemore and Atmosphere on another, and so on.

Food! I'm a big fan of gourmet restaurants, but I'll still tear me up some Taco Bell.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.) Something to read
2.) Music
3.) Advil Liqui-Gels
4.) Cherry Coke
5.) Sunglasses
6.) Tacos
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Fucking magnets. How do they work?!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out to eat, reading in bed, playing a video game, or throwing bricks at mailboxes...not really. I couldn't think of anything else after video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a ridiculous wolf tattoo on my back. I was young, it was a bad choice. I'm planning on getting it covered up soon with something a bit more respectable.

Also...

I am Batman.
