Mix tapes, directions, getting you to open up without even trying, computers(that should be obvious), and playing the drums.

I stop and give directions to people on the street. My friends say that's because I'm new, but I'd like to think I would do that regardless.

I've been teaching myself to cook and my vegetarian roommate has told me on more than one occasion that she loves the smell of my cooking. Clearly I must be doing something right or it could just be the butter sauce. The last two dishes were a French linguine, shrimp, tomato, and basil thing and a chicken vegetable stir fry.

More often than not I'm told that I'm funny.

I like books. Things that make you think, psychology, science, philosophy, social/economic theory, non-fiction. A quick look at my bookshelf will reveal Dickinson, Gibson, Homer, Huxley, Marlowe, Miller, Milton, Nietzsche, Plato, Poe, and a ridiculous number of computer books.

Movies; Sci-Fi and Comedy top the list, but I'll give anything a shot.

Music; I usually gravitate to things from the 80’s and 90’s. I loaded up my online collection in itunes to find my favorite artists and it crashed. It said that I have 21,029 songs so I might have to come back to this.

Food; Generally Japanese, Mexican, Mediterranean, French. Right now I'll consider most anything. There are so many fantastic food options in this city. I'm also learning how to cook. Also wine.

I've just recently discovered that I do indeed like hummus. It's my dirty little secret.

Give me a topic. . . I watch world news entirely too often. Preferably the BBC.

Why does it have to be typical? I could be at a club having a drink and listing to tunes, trying a new restaurant, going to an art gallery, seeing a show, finding something to try in the city that I've never done before, and maybe possibly I'm doing it with you!
