My self-summary
Allow me to impress you with just one example of the many things I know: Time travel is impossible.
"Wait woah, How do you know this?" I hear you say.
Well, consider this: to a future earth with time travel capability, past earth (our present) is just a poor country with an outdated military and very rich natural reserves that is, by any reasonable standards, actively attacking future earth; species extinct, CO2 emissions, polluting the oceans and poisoning all the fish, etc etc.
Despite this we have not yet been invaded. This leads me to conclude that future earth is unable to invade past earth because it does not have access to time travel. Since it would suffice for time travel to be invented at any time in however a distant future for such an invasion to already have taken place, we must conclude that we will never invent time travel.

I fully accept I can be a bit of an annoying know-it-all, but rest assured my lack of personality and repressed demeanor more than make up for it. Not to mention I'm still a student and poor!

If this comes off as forced, tacky self-deprecation and a bit conceited just remember, I'm actually very interesting and charming in person.

About my pictures, I generally don't tend to take pictures of myself when I go to places, I'd be too embarrassed that a passer-by might see and think "what a self-absorbed narcissist" so I haven't taken as many pictures as I should have. I make do with other people's facebook-pictures instead and supplement with bathroom selfies. It works okay.
What I’m doing with my life
Doing a master's degree in bioengineering, which is also an engineering degree (go figure).

Looking for new ways to make delicious fish, chicken, or other good sources of protein, and have it still be delicious after reheating in the microwave.

I lift heavy things and put them down again.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm fairly tall, people tend to point it out if it should be news to me "hey, you're tall, you know that?".
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm drawn to anything with good pacing and clever plots/writing, especially if it's sci-fi/fantasy oriented. Really liked the BBC remake of Sherlock, I also like game of thrones, breaking bad, dexter, Inception, and the (new) Batman trilogy. I watch The Daily Show + Colbert Report daily (while reading up on the news). Catching up on "it's always sunny in philadelphia" at the moment and it's hilarious in the stupidest possible way (which is nice). I generally watch a lot of different shows when I have time to kill.

Outside of studying, I probably read 2 books on a good year. Usually the books I read are about some weird and interesting subject. Recent examples: how to think, fast and slow; the psychopath test; the men who stare at goats; the god delusion; brief history of time; various fantasy/sci-fi books like the Wheel of Time series etc.
The six things I could never do without
coffee, the internet, lazy days, free time
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I am highly concerned about the amount of people on this site who would find nuclear war exciting…

I semi-regularly get frustrated about religion and the hypocrisy surrounding it. Sometimes at night I'll be amateur-philosophizing about the universe, also all the superhero stuff I would do if I had superpowers.

How clever Breaking Bad is about the plot basically describing the development of cancer, with Walter White as the origin of the cancer.
On a typical Friday night I am
My friday nights are not a lot different from other nights: Studying, reading a research paper, reading (a book), watching movie/netflix, or hanging out with (a) friend(s), sometimes in the gym lifting heavy objects.

One of those, or I'm exploring some corner of the Internet until my eyes are blood shot (this one is much more likely).
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 20–28
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals, casual sex
You should message me if
You want to hang, if you have a secret salmon recipe, or if you have urgent information to relay.

You want to inform me of the grandfather paradox and how it makes my earlier argument about the possibility of time travel moot.
(it was actually meant more as a social commentary on how we treat poorer nations and the fact that we are burning our planet to the ground, but I'm a very good listener, please go ahead I'd be fascinated to hear it.)
