My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Down to earth, romantic, nature-loving, passionate, zest for life guy, looking for similar in a partner.

My son, whom I adore, is now beginning his second year of college, and while I miss him terribly, I'm suddenly free all the time.

I love the Northwest, and I play outside in all the seasons

I'm passionate about the outdoors, for nature, both recreationally and in a pantheistic sense. I can be found swimming in lakes and rivers, kayaking, hiking, skiing in the winter, or simply throwing a Frisbee in the park. While I love doing these things, I'm not Type-A about it all; I simply revel in nature, and ideally hope to share some of these activities with a partner.

While I love being outside, I am also very content hanging out at home, cooking and sharing a good meal with friends, watching a movie, reading, etc. I love going out to the movies, and am often at my local Laurelhurst theater. I also enjoy going to the Laurelthirst on occasion, for the music, beer, and good vibes.

I'm full of kinetic energy. I'm also sensitive, perceptive, inquisitive, and passionate. I have a great sense of humor,(sometimes sarcastic),
and have a youthful spirit.

At 53, I don't pretend to have it all figured out, but rather, am enjoying the ride whilst still growing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living life. Working, and playing. Being appreciative of all that I have. Hiking in the gorge. Trying not to miss my son so much. . . Thinking about this upcoming ski season and. . . wondering when we'll get more snow. Practicing being more mindful.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Friendliness, making people laugh, being curious and playful, listening, being a friend, perceiving, and appreciating the simple things in life. Making oatmeal. Massage. Being outdoors. Camping. Planning adventures.
Being physically active. Overanalyzing. Procrastinating!
The first things people usually notice about me

Music: All sorts. Dylan, Natalie Merchant, The Band, Dido,
