I just celebrated my twelfth year of living in New York City and I have to say I love it more every year (who doesn't love the subway during rush hour) I'm a city explorer who is into museums, film, art, theater, music, sports, food, night life, architecture, style, design...I guess you could say I'm a true Renaissance Man (I'll also accept Rain Man)

I'm proud to say I grew up in the midwest (Nebraska, that is) and carry with me the same kind of values. If you need to barrow a cup of sugar you could definitely knock on my door. My parents just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary and I hope to follow in their footsteps someday (emphasis on the someday, lol).

I'm the middle of three brothers who grew up camping, watching sports, and beating each other up, so I'm definitely in touch with my masculine side. I played high school football and was in a fraternity throughout college and have a lot of straight friends, but at the same time I'm comfortable enough in my own skin and with my sexuality to own my feminine side too.

I'm driven and career oriented and have a lot of passion for what I do, but I know how to relax and let my hair down and understand the benefit of having friends and a life outside of my chosen profession.

I'm really into positive energy and believe that you get back the energy that you give out. I'm also into living a truthful life where I hold myself accountable for my own actions (Never too late to say you are sorry)

I've been told I have my wits about me, which I'm 85% sure is a compliment. Witty banter and sarcasm are appreciated by me and I have a soft spot for a guy who can make fun of himself...a little self deprecating sense of humor can be sexy.

I'll kick your butt on the racquetball court and welcome some heathy competition on any sports court/field.....just know I'm embarrassing with a basketball, lol, I'm talking Elaine dancing on Seinfeld embarrassing. If you know who Michael Chang is you have seriously scored points.....lots of them.

I'm looking for guy who has passion in his life...about what he does, or a hobby he has, or for life in general. He doesn't have to have the body of a superhero or be a neurosurgeon, but he does have to be present in our relationship, a listener, a glass is half full kind of guy, able to crack a joke or say something witty, inquisitive and open to new things and ideas, able to give and receive love, considerate, out and proud, confident, honest, and a good communicator, and i must admit a killer smile doesnt hurt.....I will try my best be all those things in return.

I'm on the creative path, specifically the theater. I am the head artistic associate of a theater production company as well as a theater director for plays and musicals....I also always have a side job...right now it's bar tending at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Being a good friend! My friends are my family. I'm a listener who is good at keeping people excited about their lives. I love to see people do well and succeed. I make a damn good cup of French press coffee too. Mmm, French press coffee.

My hair...what can i say, the proteins in my body are HEALTHY. My positivity is noticed a lot too. I like to think and act on the bright side of things. My smile gets a lot of compliments and hey, i got a nice butt...it's okay you can look at it.

The Alienist is my fav book....think CSI in 1800's New York City.....also Freedom (Franzen) Faggots (Kramer) The Kite Runner, anything Jane Austen, Heartbreaking Work of a Staggering Genius....nothing like a good book!

I love Oscar Worthy Movies.....My fav of all time is American Beauty. I love spanish films too....All About My Mother. Teen movies from the 80's are on my guilty pleasure list....bueller, faris bueller, anybody?

My music taste is eclectic... Washed Out, Fleet Foxes, Panda Bear, Dirty Projectors, tanlines, andrew bird, the divine fits, the presets, lord huron, first aid kit, alabama shakes, bat for lashes, local natives, Jeff Buckley will always be a virtuoso to me....love a good new music find.

I am addicted to sushi....Love it! I have a sweet tooth, billy's bakery...nuff said. I dig all kinds of different foods....from bbq to thai...ever been to Momofuku?

doing a variety of things, seeing a broadway show, getting a drink in midtown, singing karaoke on St. Marks Street, Danceing at Sugarland in Brooklyn, going to the free night at the MOMA, seeing live music somewhere, sitting at home with a movie and piece of pizza. I like to mix it up... Be great to meet someone who does the same....and who can teach me poker strategy... Im a dumb blonde in that territory.
