My self-summary Propose an edit

I'm a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I can be a contradiction. I am funny and serious. I love to have a good time with friends and I enjoy having time for myself.

I enjoy going out yet I enjoy being a homebody and watching a good movie with a bowl of homemade popcorn (I use microwave popcorn when I am lazy or have run out of kernels). I'm a huge movie buff! I love watching movies. I will watch all kinds except for scary movies that like to show you how much blood can come out of a person. I will end up hiding on your shoulder the entire time and it would be a huge waste of the $10 it now seems to cost to go to the movies. But, on the other hand, I do like watching movies or shows that have to do with vampires. I know. A big contradiction but that's what I said I am.

I would love to travel the world and experience the culture of the country I am in, not just as a tourist. I love to write poetry, I love to try new adventures. I guess that may be why I decided to do this online thing. I am extremely new to this so bear with me!

I love to cook, especially authentic Mexican food but I don't like having to clean. I wish I had a magic wand for those dishes to somehow just get washed by themselves. I like to go out to eat with friends, but I prefer to go shopping alone (so guys, I'm sure this is a major plus for you since I know shopping with a girl is definitely not at the top of any guys list!)

I am girly, but if I burp it can come out really loud, hehe. I love to dance, especially salsa, til my feet can't hold me up any longer. I try to dance at least once a week since it is my passion. But I also love to all extents my bed and cherish the sleep I can get!

I am a first year elementary school teacher]]. I can also teach salsa or ballroom dances. I also love to learn! I get excited when I learn something new!

I am a [realist and a dreamer. I love my friends and family with all my heart but please do not bring any drama.

Roses are great, lines are not. I like spontaneity but am a helpless romantic. Over the years, romance to me has come to have a new meaning. To me, romance is about being creative and original. Going out of your way to do something for that special someone. I'm not going to lie. I am a sucker for flowers. Don't feed me lines from the movies or any for that matter. I don't want to live out someone else's fairytale. I want to live out my own fairytale.

I absolutely love and need affection as I like to be told and shown that I am cared for. Which I in turn like to show others the same. I love hugs. I don't like those side hugs or the ones where they pat your back. If that's the kind of hug you give, you need to be shown a real hug, haha! I also love to cuddle! It is definitely my most favorite hobby! (yes I enjoy it even more than salsa dancing)

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

It is my first year teaching and am having a ball with it! I teach in a monolingual class but knowing me, I will try to tackle different aspects in education. I would love to teach different grade levels as well as bilingual classes. Or even a school counselor somewhere down the road. Also, I hope to be able to improve in dancing and possibly be able to take it further down the road.

Basically I am enjoying a new part of my life. One that I have worked so hard for so long.

Dancing! If you play music, I am sure to be the one that is dancing.

I also like to think I am a good cook. I can make some authentic Mexican food. No Tex Mex here! Ewww!

I am good at teaching eithe the little ones or the big ones. Whether it is elementary curriculum or some new salsa steps.

I've been told that I have a nice smile! Oh and that I have nice eyes?! Which is awesome because not that many people with brown eyes get that compliment.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Oh goodness! I love any book that Nicholas Sparks writes. I also got hooked on the Twilight series.

For movies...well since I love Mr. Sparks, you may have guessed that my favorite movie is the Notebook, like any girl in the 21st century.

My taste in music is very eclectic. I will listen to just about anything except for country. There's a bit of country that I can tolerate but don't push your luck!

As for food...my fave is Mexican food but again, I am not picky.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

I would go out dancing quite a bit but now that I am teaching, lot's of Fridays are spent in my bed sleeping since I am worn out! But I make exceptions here and there.

Saturdays though, I do try to make it a habit to hang out with my friends or that special someone. Again, I am always up for anything. I bet you can tell I am really laid back by now.
