My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I got my palm read for $5 in New York once. It was after midnight and she was filing her nails as I walked in. The mystic took her chewing gum out to talk with me. Professional, like. I would say that she had a $5 insight into my deepest reaches, correctly predicting that I like travel and am skeptical about the efficacy of crystal balls.

For no extra dollars, these are some hobbies, interest and things I think are 👍:

>radios 4&6
>theatre & dance & opera & art & design & all that
>walking up hills, staring down dales
>discos, discos, discos
>growing my own veg
>trying to navigate the Bristol cycle paths without dying
>fancy dress/fancy dresses
>post rock & hip hop & lots else
>fake tattoos & real tattoos
>wanderlust & wondering lost (often a causal relationship)
>reading chunky novels
>fiction writing for fun and factual writing for fun and for my salary
>feminism and equality causes
>my job with an international poverty and environmental charity
>my very lovely large lively family
>my very lovely large lively circle of friends
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to reconcile:

Being a real life grown up with a career and mortgage and a pension plan I don't fully understand

&

Being silly person who can't drive and has a short attention span and a strong desire to bugger off travelling

I hope this is what being an adult is supposed to feel like
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Poorly planned tourism.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
snogging; the last olive; swear words; a cavalier attitude to road safety; terrified running (see former); dancing round my kitchen
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
"Holy, holy fuck this water is fucking cold. What the fuck just floated past me? Just a leaf. Phew. Why did I even get into this bit of sea/lido/pond? Oh buggery, my brain's freezing, I can't even remember which water I'm in. I'm so fucking cold I'm getting metatextual. Right, La Travi Aren't Ya, gird yourself woman. You are Ellie Simmonds, you are Rebecca Adlington, you are Virginia Woolf. No. No. No. You are NOT Virginia Woolf. You are a graceful, yet powerful, mackerel.
... wait a minute... why are you getting out? You were just getting started, you graceful mackerel, you!
...coward."

* Rube Goldberg machines.

* Condiments.

* If I'm two children stacked inside an adult's clothes

* Gender and how it's all a bit silly

I don't think liking the same stuff as me is that important. I think liking a range of things is really important: lovely bit of high-brow/lovely bit of low-brow; nice spot of physical/nice spot of social. Apart from that I'd say being kind, calm and imaginative are the important things. Boisterous would be a massive bonus.
