Anything by Edward Rutherfurd or Graham Joyce. And David Sedaris
from time to time. Of course Tolkien remains strong. Was just
reaing '"This world is on fire", by Levon Helm.
Tommy Boy, Elf, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. And horror movies that
have a plot. Almost anything on TED.com. or
forbiddenknowledgetv.com. Of course the list could go on and on,
but i am not interested in trying to impress with psuedo
intellectual bullshit. There's enough of that crap on this site
Music is too extensive to explain. Lately, I've been into
alternative country. NOT to be confused with pop country at all.
They ARE NOT the same thing. Google it. I have a very wide and
ecclectic taste. I don't like mainstream pop, what they call RnB
(it isn't) or stupid rap. I WILL jam to hip hop if it is
intelligent and purposefull. Ray Davies is the man for sure. If you
know who he is then half the battle is won. I grew up on 70's punk
rock, New Wave and ska. As well as the traditional rock n roll
Staple Singers, The Clash, Pistols, Stranglers, Blind Boys of
Alabama, Alison Krauss and The dixie Chics have special places in
my soul. Again the list goes on.
