My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I don't like tv.
Why do you people get so offended by that?

Let's see, I believe everyone can be described as a series of eloquently phrased contradictions.

I'm the BIGGEST tomboy, but I know how to dress myself.
I'm a woman, but I know women are nuts.
I'm a cynical smart ass, but I care deeply.
I'm straight up and will tell you the blunt reality, but there is a time and a place for sweet words.
I have a passion for life that co-exists with a comfortable fear of it.

I can come off as both an insecure little beetch to a self-obsessed moron. I am neither! :)

My *middle* name is Laura.
I swear like a sailor, and I'm not afraid to burp like a lumberjack. Ha.

I have two tattoos, and I plan on many more.

I used to play soccer for many years until I severely injured my knees, grew a bone from a hairline fracture along the kneecap that leaked bone marrow and calcified, and had to get this solid chunk of bone surgically removed. And that's the short version. I cheer for the leafs, avidly watch soccer, but American football, baseball, and basketball bore me to tears. I may be convinced otherwise.
I write a lot, lots of poetry, a very long first half of a novel with no ending in sight, and lyrics to songs that I will never remember.

I have a very complicated family tree, and they are wonderful. My best friend and father once described me as a "Badass rocker vintage-ee hippie chick." He also used to call me Froggy.

I say rad. I don't say swag.

I listen to a lot of music, but older is better, in general. Led Zeppelin is first and foremost, Floyd close behind, but I could go on and on for hours about my favourite bands. Please, try convincing me that Pablo Honey was a bad album and you'll lose. Extra points if you didn't use google to look that up. I like metal, I like classic rock, I like grunge, and rockabilly, and punk, and hardcore, and new rock, indie, some interesting pop music, blues are flawless, country sucks, rap sucks more. I can appreciate dance music for dancing, nothing more :)

Here's the thing. I don't care if you're a "regular, easy-going, active, social butterfly". I could care less. I would rather hear that weird story that no ever wants to hear about, or that song that you just discovered, or... something.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Here is the boring stuff. The facts. I'm going to school at York at present, studying (creative) writing and psychology. My plan as of yet is speech pathology. Boring, not because I don't care about it, but because a personality is so much more interesting than a resume.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Um. Making burritos. Because that's my job.
Well I write and sing, draw and I do lots of random crafts.. I cook. I dunno.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My bright ass hair, my green eyes, my plugs, my tattoos. Physically at least lol.
Most people notice that I'm very opinionated right away. I'm a dreamer though, I'm artistic. I'm a complete weirdo.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If I'm out I'm most likely at a bar having a beer with a few friends from work or outside of work,
If I'm staying in I'm either at my computer or watching a show with my ma. Or I guess when I visit my dad I just hang around and spend time with my sisters... :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

My dad is my best friend.
I'm proud of all of these things.
Ask me why.

You're home music, your soul-healing, back to basics, it all comes down to this music is some sort of rock. If you've never listened to a Pink Floyd album straight through we aren't meant to be, my darling.

You're a weirdo, a nerd, a geek, a music fanatic, tattooed, you're taller than me, you don't find slapstick funny, you have pretty eyes/ a beard (stubble is ok too)... any of the above and you're off to a good start.
