My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love my life. I am full of adventure and curiosity. Art, music, creativity, bravery and intelligent conversation inspire me. I find most things in life absolutely hilarious.

I have been to all 50 states and four continents. I'm just going to keep on going... India next? Or, Argentina? Spain... please, Spain!

Bertrand Russell said at the end of his life all that really matters is being kind. And, in the spirit of Shaw...at the end of my life I just want to be all used up.

I have tons of energy and accomplish a lot. However, I cherish quiet. I crave space for spontaneity and rest.

I am happy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I love NYC, and I am a citizen of the world. There is no airport or train station that is not my friend! Let's go!!! My favorite places on the planet are New York City, the bottom of the Grand Canyon, Venice Italy. I suppose the common threads with those three are lots of water, dramatic "architecture," surprises around every corner and passion.

For me, it is important to balance being out in nature and being in the heart of a vibrant city. I am an outdoorsy Colorado native who worked for Patagonia for six years. I have also worked for Tiffany, Cartier, Ralph Lauren, and love being sparkly City gal. Being immersed in art and music and the celebration of vibrant human endeavor is like oxygen for me.

Training for marathons is exciting and an important focus. I run for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. Two friends are the inspiration for this amazing cause.

I am a Red Sox fan living behind enemy lines. Yes, that's right.

I am always listening for what people love and what they are committed to and what inspires them. Around me, those things get illuminated.

I love dressing up and being fancy, and I think good manners matter.
And, I love being in the wilderness, where good "manners" (respect and awe) also matter.

People often inquire what their lives are for. So, I took some time to think about what is deeply important to me, and created this purpose for my Self:
"All people fully alive and celebrating the gift of life; nurturing our bodies, our earth, and each other." Mostly, everything I do and have my attention on, fits inside that context.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening.
Reading, skiing, drinking copious amounts of green juice, experimenting, being on time, playing, sleeping soundly, redecorating every room I walk into in my mind, laughing, being creative, riding my bike in heels in scary traffic, getting ready in under 20 minutes, zipping through security lines very quickly, eating super hot chiles, appreciating and celebrating people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I think pretty much everything is funny or inspiring.
Style is important to me (different than "fashion").
I am smiling.
I am paying attention.

I love movies....but mostly no hollywood blockbusters.
If I had to pick one to watch a thousand times, "Man on a Wire."

Music. Live music.
I cry when the harmonica kicks in.

I love food as opportunity to commune, converse, and be with people. I am very attentive to nutrition.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. laughing
2. beauty...art, design, music, weirdness/quirkiness, detail
3. travel...i need to be surprised, hear new amazing music, eat new food...
4. education through conversation that's challenging, shocking, enlightening
5. integrity
6. tenderness

(7. snow)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to be patient
how to give up opinions that limit me
how to make everything fun
how to see past judgments
how to love more and completely
whether to run faster to get it over-with, or run slower to survive it
how to be the fullest expression of myself
how to make a difference and contribute
how to say what I need/want to say, and leave the other person empowered
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no such thing as typical. To me, there's not much difference between a Friday night and any other.

hearing live music
working on my business
wondering if we should get a glass or a bottle
walking my dog in my magical neighborhood
reading
seeing a movie
imagining the downfall of monsanto
going to sleep early
staying up all night
on an airplane
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not private, actually. I will answer anything that anyone wants to know about me. So, that's that.

...you are in a place in your life where you want to look ahead at what the rest of your life is for, share ideas and create a great life together. It matters to me that my life is about making a difference for others, and this could be in a wide variety of ways.

I appreciate a man who is attentive, generous, bold, caring and curious. I am interested in listening, and having an extraordinary, exhilarating life with one man.

I will not be starting up a new family. I am not a mom, and its great with me if you are a dad.

To me, "separated" is "married." I am interested in getting to know a man who is available.

Not big on computer "chatting." Happy to say yes if you would like to invite me for coffee, or out on the Hudson piers, or to dinner...or surprise me!
