I was originally born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. My family and I moved around alot while I was living with them, which made for a very interesting childhood and sparked my interest in travel as well as different_cultures. I've been to about 15 countries, and lived in 3 (Canada, U.S., and Holland).

After graduating high school I went to the University of Connecticut as a political science major, wanting to become a lawyer, but after a couple of years into the program I realized my passions were more in the arts. So I picked up, and moved out to New_York_City and am on my way to becoming a special_effects artist for commercials/movies.

I'm living in New York City, finishing up my bachelor's degree in computer art. Hoping to find a job doing special effects in movies/commercials.

- Public speaking (I don't like doing acting, but for whatever reason I have a passion for delivering extremely mundane presentations)
- Sleeping
- Figuring out public transit in places I've never been before
- Excellent phone/texting skills

- Taking care of animals
- Never taking anything too seriously. I hope I will always be able to stop pretending to be an adult, and go climb something or laugh at cartoons.

I asked a friend, and she said "Your hair. You have really pretty, long hair." Awesome, such a sweetheart =P

Books:
- I like reading things that are educational or extremely visual. I like reading the newspaper, or books that teach you how to do something, or biographies. I'm a bit of an information junkie.
However, at the same time I like looking through photography or design books. "Maus" was an awesome book because it explained a story in such a uniquely visual way. Very inspiring.

Movies:
- I mostly watch animated films and comedies, but sometimes a serious movie will sneak in and will become a favorite: Superbad, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Blood Diamond, Almost Famous, The Little Mermaid, Ferris Bueler's Day off, Kill Bill, Transformers, Forest Gump, Ace Ventura, and The Departed.

Music:
- Everything except country. I'm really into a sort of airy sound right now, something like "Feist." Others are of course, "The Beatles," "Nina Simone," "Radiohead," "Queen," show tunes, and I also have respect for just-for-fun songs like Britney Spears, Madonna, and the like.

Food:
- Sushi, Mexican, anything new. Most days I like to keep it simple though.

- Things that would be funny if they would happen in the current moment.
- Why people act the way they do.
- Where the universe starts and ends.

Go out with friends or hang out at my place, and watch a movie.
