Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I really don't like to talk about myself. I became a widow on
October 27, 2010, a victim of losing my 58 yr old husband of 28
years to lung/brain cancer, so I'm very new to this. I'm looking
for someone to hang with, go to dinner, walks on the beach, movies,
just about anything. I love listening more than talking (unusual
for a woman, huh?). I am honest, loyal, easy going, but don't like
to be taken advantage of. I'll try anything once. If I like it, I'm
sold. If I don't, then on to Plan B. I am a hard working, self
sufficient, dedicated person. I keep getting these awards for
perfect attendance at work and 8 hours extra vacation every quarter
for not calling out sick and am beginning to wonder if that is such
a good thing anymore! I tolerate just about anything (after all I
got through the teenage years to bring my children into adulthood
with lives of their own), but I can't tolerate dishonesty. That is
probably the one most important traits to me. Deceive me and there
is no going back.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Recently moved to Orlando for a job and to be closer to my daughter
and my 2 young grandkids.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I don't know what I'm really good at. I'm a great listener. I'm
great at solving everyone else's problems (isn't that what they
say...everyone else's problems should be your own, because we're so
great at solving everyone else's?). I like to cook, read, love my
wine and I'm a really, really good friend.

I love John Grisham and James Patterson. I love old movies and good
new ones, good ol' rock and roll and I could survive on wine,
cheese and crackers.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My son, my daughter, my grandson, my granddaughter, my parents and
the rest of my family. Family is very important to me and that
can't be replaced. Everything else can.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I missed out on. Spent alot of time worrying about tomorrow
and forgot to live for today.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinking a glass of wine and watching movies, playing with my dogs,
taking walks, sometimes not being afraid to go to that huge movie
theater by myself, grab a bucket of popcorn and watch a good movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You think you and I would REALLY be compatible so as not to waste
eachother's time. I haven't dated much, so patience would be a
welcome virtue. I'm a little leary of giving out too much
information and especially phone numbers on a dating website to
someone I THINK I'm talking to. (I'm an EX-laydeecop, but some
things just stay with ya!)
