First, I should say one of my pics is from a calendar we did to raise money for MDA. It doesn't really reflect my personality but I don't have many other pics on my laptop to post right now.

I’ve never been the type to meet people in bars and clubs so I’ve given Okcupid a try. My big three areas of interest are sports, movies, and, music. Being a UGA alum, Georgia Football is of great interest to me particularly in the fall. I try to go to at least one game a year as well as other sporting events.

I really enjoy sharing in the experience of watching a good movie. I would like nothing more than to write a screenplay but as of yet haven't put the effort into it. I enjoy all types of movies, from the blockbusters to independent and foreign films.

Like movies, I appreciate all genres of music but my three favorites are U2, Rolling Stones, and Springsteen (preferably with the E Street Band).

Favorite Books: Crime and Punishment, Dharma Bums, On the Road, Sun Also Rises, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Walden...I have to say most of my recent reading has been fire department related textbooks.

Favorite Movies: Godfather I and II, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Heat, Cool Hand Luke, Jaws, Unforgiven, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Early James Bond films (Connery and Moore)...the list could go on and on, I love movies

If I'm on a date I can be content simply going out to dinner and enjoying netflix. It's nice to throw in a ballgame, trivia night w/ friends, catching a movie, or roadtrip.

My match is educated, career oriented, responsible, and easy going. Being a bit athletic might help but is not a requirement. I tend to be rather sarcastic so being able to fire a quick witted comment back at me is more than welcomed. Really the most important thing is for us to enjoy spending time together. Here are a few things I would appreciate doing with my Match: Enjoying tv shows together such as Madmen, The Office, Daily Show, Family Guy; Going for a run, hike, or workout maybe even something a bit different like a trail run or disc golf; A simple evening of dinner, coffee/dessert, dvd; Watching a ballgame (being a UGA fan wouldn’t hurt); Trivia night out w/ friends; Frequent weekend roadtrips to beach, mountains, or just to visit friends; Catching a matinee; Breakfast and the Sunday paper (I like the sports and crossword); Traveling, something I plan to do more of...the perfect traveling companion would be nice.
