I was born and raised in Texas but spent most of my life in Las Vegas, NV. I recently moved back to Texas for many reasons... ask me about some of them if you are interested. Suffice it to say, I am much happier being in Texas than I was with being in Las Vegas except for the road conditions*... man... did the city planners just drop some spaghetti on a piece of paper when they decided where the roads should go in San Antonio?
*(the roads in Vegas look like a piece of graph paper with houses in between the lines... boring but super easy to navigate!!!)
I really enjoy getting into the outdoors and doing things like hiking and rock climbing when I can. I've recently started playing disc golf since the real thing with the clubs and the balls just costs too much (green's fees... equipment... practice at the driving range... etc)
Other than that, I am not really all that much of a sports buff... Sure... if there is a game on the tv, some beer in the fridge and the right company to share both of them with, then I am down for any sporting event. Even if I don't know all the rules as a guy who is mostly nerd, I can still cheer at the amazing plays and root for your team... or cheer against you if you like having competition in the room(for the fun of it of course)...
Speaking of nerdiness, I can be a bit of a nerd that loves playing video games. My current addiction is Minecraft... go figure considering my love for building things. If you are a game playing techno lovin nerd too and want to join me just message me and I'll tell you my screen name and what server I am on when I have time for actually playing.
I like to think of myself as one of the few gentlemen left in the world. I hold open doors for ladies, other gentlemen, and generally anyone else that is at the door when I am. Sure, that means I am now last in line but how important are those few seconds or minutes? I believe in paying-it-forward and always hold onto a little hope that this one small act of kindness will grow and improve the day and lives of people it touches. As some have accused me of being... I am a hopeless romantic...
I am open minded and enjoy debating almost any subject. I don't give up easily but know to admit when I am defeated or wrong. It just might take a bit of convincing to get me to realize I am wrong... :-P

I am not in too big of a hurry in my life and am befuddled by people who race along the freeway at breakneck speeds simply because they left the house 5 minutes late. Maybe its just because it is what I do... but in my humble opinion, I think people should just set their alarm a few minutes earlier and they wouldn't have to risk everyone else's lives by driving like a maniac. So what... you might end up at work a few minutes early... Oh, no... not that... What will you ever do with all that time? Relax maybe? Few seconds of meditation?
