My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My life trajectory has been MN -> RI -> MA -> CA, and my feelings about that are CA > MA > RI > MN. The Gallup poll folk seem to think I have no variance not accounted for by the following: single, no dependents, highly likely to vote, not religiously affiliated, never shop at Walmart, and "do not consider myself a NASCAR fan." What Gallup probably doesn't realize, however, is that I'm also impressively bad at jumping rope, and I buy wineglasses based solely on the tonal clarity of their clinks.

Love love love love music, language, tall buildings, and elegant graphs.

Especially on the lookout for scruffy polyglot nerds with high emotional IQs. If you know any, please send them my way.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
• sciencing data at a startup (cog-psych-tech-oriented)
• using bullet points
• learning cello and discovering it's hard to teach an old dog new clefs
• playing with magnets
• studying too many languages at once to get any good at any of them
• pretending on the treadmill to be a robot sent back through time to save humanity's future
• memorizing various items
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have great Chinese pronunciation... but my vocab is seriously nonexistent so my wonderful accent gets me nowhere.

Context is everything, isn't it?

Mostly: good posture
Sometimes: tweed
Rarely: not a cyclops

In my daydreams: rugged forearms

(e) Super foods, richly-pigmented vegetables, quinoa, Zinfandel, scotch, very dark chocolate (>80%, please), broccoli, berries... nothing with a nervous system--I get enough of that at work.
