I'm your quintessential struggling musician. Except that I have a real job, and I'm not really having to struggle that hard, haha. Creatively, maybe.

Now for some random stuff:

I am not into that whole "Jesus" thing you kids are going on about these days.

Science is the best!

Chivalry is also pretty rad. So is treating women like capable, competent human beings. Gays, too.

Job: Manager of an I.T. firm. A+, Net+, MCTS certified.

Free time: Playing guitar, video games, learning, hanging with friends, Internetting, watching TED talks.. Human stuff.

Music is a massive part of my life. I spend a respectable portion of my income on concerts and related road trips, and several hours a day playing guitar, recording, writing, scrapping projects, et cetera..

Archery is a huge interest of mine, so I do that with friends at least once a week.

Beyond the mundane stuff I'm usually planning my next road trip, learning something new, or hammering away at some goal. Life is short, beautiful, and sometimes very unfair. Fill it with experiences while you have the opportunity.

Archery and guitar. Also, pretty much anything else a 10-year-old boy would think is totally rad. I'm still that kid.

The only thing I really dislike about these lists (other than making them) is that you get this impression that these are exclusively a person's interests in a particular category. I like to just think of them as what I will gravitate to first if given the choice between several things.

Books:
Dragonlance Chronicles, Ender's Game, The Prince, Dante's Inferno, World War Z, The Zombie Survival Guide, Calvin and Hobbes, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Dune, Breakfast of Champions. Any number of history or mythology books, classical literature, and comic books. I also love science journals. Watching humanity develop excites the hell out of me.

Movies:
Gladiator, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Conan the Barbarian, The Fountain, Blade Runner, zombie movies.. Scifi, fantasy, action, and the occasional foreign film.

Shows:
Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Highlander, Tim and Eric Awesome Show - Great Job!, Star Trek: TNG, The IT Crowd, Red Dwarf, Black Books, Supernatural, Seinfeld.

Games:
Metal Gear, Zelda, Elder Scrolls, any zombie game, etc. I play way too many to list. Sadly, I don't have much time for them. I'd quite prefer to live real life, anyway.

The occasional existential crisis. My forthcoming trip to Europe. LOL cats. Music stuff. All of the reasons for me to not go to the gym. (But I still end up going.) Where I want to move and travel to.

Also, human affectations. And dressing up like Thor for no reason.. I will find any excuse.

Roundhouse kicking sharks. Inside of a burning.. Building.. Full of babies that I'm saving. No, cats. I like cats much better.

I do not have Richard Simmons tattooed anywhere on my body.

Pixie cuts are my Kryptonite.. *drool*

You're intelligent, can be as open to the things I'm into as I would be for you, and you're funny. Alright, you don't have to be funny, as long as you can laugh at (with?) me. I'm good for that.

Also, if you think you want to. I'm flexible. I'm pretty good at getting along with most people. Take a chance. I'd hate for some minor incompatibility to throw the whole thing off. I also recognize that most people in this part of the world will not share my music tastes.. and that's okay.
