My self-summary
Still slightly crazy after all these years. I have finally achieved my goal of the last decade, which was to get my PhD. I am snarky, sarcastic, but with a heart as I like to say. While I may be a big geek I've tried to transcend that over the years by developing tastes in food, alcohol, music, politics... I'm a cross between spontaneity and ritual. Mostly I do love life and exploring my passions.

I am intelligent, witty, and genuine.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a visiting assistant professor, my first academic job that doesn't pay peanuts; on top of that I'm trying to publish articles and apply for tenure-track jobs. Plus I participate in activist work with the Green Party across the state, playing my guitar, watch cult movies, and attempt to have fun in the frozen wasteland of upstate NY.
I’m really good at
Cooking, activism, analytical dilemmas, naming obscure philosophical terms, dancing to a different drummer.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look like a Native American (seriously). Most likely that I am absolutely insane, but that it's a good thing with me.

How to change the world and bring about a revolution. Getting an article published and a tenure-track job. How exactly I can get the finest wines available to humanity, here and now.

You're interested in someone who isn't plastic-y or superficial, but intelligent and looking for the same (and can be just as interested in a fling as a more serious relationship). I'm someone who likes philosophy, reading Foucault and the like, but also fun and games. Oh, and good food.
